The squad is going to be celebrating the birth of our beloved @thetechnodoll with a fierce ass 420 bday celebration guiding us into the holiday(s), starting the evening of Sunday 4/19 10p-2a at @mortimersbar 🩷 Can’t wait to SYOTDF and celebrate togetherness, getting our bodies high, and our favorite doll 😘💨

Thank you once again to our Body High family who came out to our After Dark party! Last night was a reminder why we do this. “Thank you” doesn’t seem like enough. Shoutout to the dancers who breathed the high in with us, the space for holding us, the team who made (makes) the behind the scenes work look effortless, and everyone who supports the vision. Deep appreciation to everyone uplifting queer femme energy without compromise. Body High is more than just a collective, more than a party. It’s intention and care. It’s love and connection. For the music, the connection, the people who have been pushed out and crave spaces like the one we created last night. Last night was a testament to all of that, and I have been emotional about it since the lights came on at 4 AM. This party was so much bigger than Body High. This is for all the femmes, the queer folks, the trans people, and the BLACK WOMEN on the dancefloor. I could tell immediately that this was a crowd that was there to dance and sweat. I was told by so many that I was smiling from ear to ear all night, and I want to say all of that positive energy was a reflection of the love I was feeling from all of YOU. I was humbled during this process many times and leaned on those around me for support. I never in a million years thought this was something I was capable of being a part of, and you guys really proved me wrong. That was the biggest crowd of people I have ever played music in front of, and to be able to take collective ownership of that party is really fucking special and beautiful. WE DID THAT. Cannot say enough how proud, happy, and emotional I am. We will be sharing details about donations in the coming days. Peace & Love. - Jamila
