Wow, I’m still shook from Friday XIII. This was my first time producing a party on this level and it went even better than expected. I wanted to make this post dedicated to all the dj’s on the lineup for the first of my Friday XIII party series. They truly brought the dark magic we all so desperately needed. @girlblunt3d Her dedication to uplifting femmes is truly inspiring and shows that it is possible to do in Mpls. She always brings a cunty edge to her music that makes me wanna shake my ass, and I did. She knows how to get a dance floor warmed up like no other. @beab.mpls One of the biggest sweeties in Mpls. I’ve seen beab play out for a few years and am always blown away with his all vinyl sets, and the at he could play to any room and stand out. His vinyl set on Friday was no exception. The precision he has on the turn tables is incredible. @dj.amiina I’m so happy to this got to be Amina’s US debut. Her dark heavy techno is sooooo my vibe and her set blended textured in such a cool way. Did I mention there were a few unreleased track from friends of her’s in the UK that she played? She is a truly kind person and one hell of a DJ. Our B2B will live in my head rent free till the day I die. I’m so excited for her DJing career to truly take off and looking forward to continue collaborating. So happy we met under that bridge two years ago. @defrainey Lorraine has been like an unofficial mentor of mine and have spent hours listening to her play and her opening up the Klüb Stööpid studio for me until the morning hours. Her sets are inspiring and best in the middle of the night. On Friday, the dance floor stayed packed for Lorraine till the end and I totally get why. Her music is so good you can’t leave. Thank you all for bringing your creativity to the night. The music was truly amazing and such a vibe.
