Teleport is an event series that emphasizes psychedelic electronic music. The dance music at Teleport 011 will be techno-forward for the first portion, psy-forward for the second.
For this installment, there will also be a stage and room devoted to ambient and downtempo music (in addition to the techno/goa/psytrance room). Both will feature live hardware and DJ performance.

Welcome to Episode 12 of AZZA’s Friends featuring MPLS based Bcubed! A mix show where friends new and old share their musical treasures!
Bcubed first came on my radar through his exquisite mixes featured on the Spinzone Radio show: long, techy, jazzy, and minimal journeys that envelop the listener and take them deep into the space of the present moment (shoutout to host and great friend McGinnis!). As I begin listening more I had the pleasure of running into him at the Great Beyond festival last year and chatting a little bit about music and possibly one day hosting one of his awesome pieces on my show here!
Ben felt the tug towards underground music early after attending DIY rock shows in his youth and becoming obsessed with the punk spirit that defines much of the MPLS underground. Working from heavy sounds into dubstep, trance and ultimately towards techno and rave was a natural progression as he found himself involved in music as a listener, dancer, AV specialist and ultimately a DJ himself! The recurring theme in a long conversation we had was music’s power to transform and take people somewhere far away. Attending and playing pop-up events, camping raves, and parties around Minneapolis heavily inspire his selections and sonic landscape. In particular the concept of the rave as a Temporary Autonomous Zone - or a place where time, space, and their typical conceptions can be breached together to share timeless art, boundless creativity, and radical joy. This concept directly plays into many of the events he has played: intimate and exotic get-togethers in places where time stands still and the music comes alive.
Slide into 129 minutes of hazy, otherworldly deep, dubby, minimal music that soundtracked a “chill” house party for New Years Eve 2025 . Not knowing the styles or genres of the DJs directly before or after his set, Ben leaned into the liminality of his early morning slot and took attendees on a temporary journey off this crazy planet into the cosmos. So many of my favorites sounds and many beloved producers make up this special mix: enjoy and look for more music from Bcubed as another Midwest summer heats up!

Very excited to host a free community event at the Uptown VFW. Come check it out, visit our donation table, and trance out with us!
I'll be opening the floor tomorrow @wax_appeal_mpls from 2 - 3pm at TRXX warehouse. Gonna be spinning some deep, misty dub techno and laid back house groovers to capture some of that winter vibe in the air. Will be my first time spinning vinyl for others so feeling pretty nervous, hope to see some friendly faces there!

Almost exactly 1 year ago, I made a post on social media on how, "I wanna support and be in service of the communal dance experience, and help preserve the history of underground rave culture and its messages".
Honestly, on this front I am incredibly proud of my progress so far between the various parties I have helped support, changing careers to be an AV Technician, pursuing certifications and continuing knowledge for live events, setting up speakers and sound tech-ing for live events including some parties of my own, learning how to produce music, and always digging for new music to share with others.
I bring this old post up because the effort involved with making this party and set happen feels like a culmination of everything I have learned this past year. Over 2 days we setup up tons of speakers, Halloween themed deco, and my DJ equipment, and threw "a really dope party for a select amount of people".
I had an idea that working behind the scenes throwing events was something I would enjoy, and it feels great to bring some of those ideas to life and have fun doing it.

New recording from a DJ set I played at a camp out with friends in somewhere, Minnesota this June. Performed during the witching hours of the night, this set features multiple flavors of fun electronic music: banging minimal tech house, lighthearted trance, hints of psychedelic techno, and some dub techno to round things out with depth. The mixing was done on 2 decks with some shorter blends and fast cuts to keep things moving forward. The central idea was to focus on discovery and surprise with tracks that bring in unexpected elements to keep minds engaged and bodies moving into the most authentic hours of the night. Link in bio.
While everyone was out in Detroit celebrating Techno Christmas, we had a party at the stellar Klüb Stööpïd in Minneapolis, and honestly I would not have it any other way. There is no room for FOMO when the music is on point, the vibes are immaculate, and you are surrounded by wonderful people.
I am grateful for being given the opportunity to play a set from 11pm-Midnight. The idea I had going into this set was a counterpoint to Movement; while people are soaking up Detroit classics in Detroit, I wanted to make Minneapolis productions shine in Minneapolis. That sound was curated by 5 tracks from a few of my favorite local producers and labels (Autokinetic, Malion, Kajunga, Freddie Fresh, and Mutual Identities).

New mix on @mcginnis_spinzone which is a set I played at @danakazuko 's Playing House party in February. It was a wonderful free event with tons a of talented queer artists selling their works around the space along with some great harm reduction resources. Highly recommend this deep house and queer centered makers fair, next one is this Sunday March 16th at the Green Room.
I played early on in the afternoon so my deep house set was focused on laid back rhythms and a consistent groove to fall into. Link in Bio, tracklist on soundcloud.
