These colors mean a lot to us. Not only are they representative of our branding, but the names pay homage to our Asian-American roots as we celebrate AAPI month. A while ago, a friend of ours pushed us to create pieces that we resonate with and to go outside of our boundaries (thanks @mashnunmunir ). Being born to Lao immigrants, I feel deep ties to the uprising trend in Asian culture and want to continue representing it, even if it’s just through the name of our new drop. 🤣
Also, we have been working on our logistics heavily this past year and decided not to drop these color ways or any new product unless the product is in our hands, so that we can ship immediately after orders come through. Proud to say we finally made it happen. All thermals are in hand and ready to ship. Thank you all for the support thus far. 🤍
Lastly, I want to personally acknowledge how hard it has been this year to stay motivated. But through this, I’ve learned a lot about myself throughout these years with Turtlewoods, and I’m super excited for our future, nevertheless. Let’s continue to grow and build together. 🥂

spent the last 6 months locked in preparing for Q4 —
failing, learning, growing, repeating
here are some things I took away:
find 1-3 things that you are exceptional at, make that your focus — everything else will fall into place
do now, ask later — when you have an idea, execute it, don’t leave too much room for criticism or opinions, let your actions speak (i could go on about this for hours)
everything you do should be intentional — otherwise you’re shooting in the dark
personal relationships are everything (to me) — take care of your people and they will take care of you. If you want a community to stand by you, you gotta be apart of the community.
