Introducing our Mid Blue Type I Lined Selvedge Denim Jacket.
We took our finished raw jackets and had them faded and distressed at our dye house in LA. Typically you would wash and fade before adding trims and buttons so they won’t get damaged in the washing process, however we found that it gave the jacket a truly authentic worn in feel and look.
The leather tab became distressed, the buttons became faded and slightly banged up, and even the lining became washed out in color.

Today marks 7 years of Circle Author.
To be fully transparent, I never thought we would have made it this far. There were so many times I wanted to give up, many times I didn’t know how I would pay rent or pay off business loans. Because of the many people who have believed in this vision and helped along the way we have been able to continue pushing.
With that being said, I am grateful and optimistic for the future of Circle Author. This year has so much in store for the brand, and the pieces we are getting ready to release are some of my most proud work. Thank you for supporting the brand these past 7 years.
