Absolutely buzzing to announce my new pb a mega common at 36lb 8oz 💥🔥.
Keeping tactics simple fishing solid bags at range consisting of @craftycatcher pellet & a @elevatebaits Garlic infusion dumbell hookbait tipped with a yellow topper on the business end 🧄🟡.
I knew instantly I was into a good fish with how the rod was bent over, I kept steady pressure and just stayed hopeful 🙏🏼.
After a good 10 minutes and a little bit of this way that way I finally had it sulking in the net 👌🏻.
Sharing this moment with the bailiffs @loggies.lake & @matt_carpy made this capture so much more memorable & the buzz between us all was unreal 🎉🍾.
I cant thank the lads enough 👊🏼, an unreal session with 7 fish up to 36lb 8oz 💥💥.

I cant really put into words how this session unfolded, I arrived Sunday early evening around 5pm I stopped and had a quick chat with the bailiffs to hear only a fish or 2 had been out so I wasn’t that hopeful 💭.
I chose a swim that covers a good amount of water and has done me a fair few fish over recent trips. I sat on my hands for the first 2 hours with no rods in just watching the water with no signs.
I stuck in that swim and chose to chuck out some solid bags at 18 wraps consisting of @craftycatcher pellet with @elevatebaits garlic infusion dumbell hookbait and a yellow topper on the business end 💪🏻.
Heres where it gets good… Within half an hour of getting the rods out my middle rod went screaming off but seconds after netting the fish my right hand rod was away aswell resulting in a 28lb 9oz & 17lb common shortly followed by 3 other fish to 22lb 5oz. I was knackered so finally got my head down 💤.
The next 24hrs went by with not even a knock on the rods so I was wondering if that was my luck done. The night slowly crept in so I settled in bed for the last night hoping something would happen throughout the hours of darkness 🌒 but again not even a knock.
I was up at first light keeping my eyes on the water and sure enough I see a few fish boshing right over my spots, I was feeling hopeful again but time was ticking 🤞🏻.
At around 1:30pm my right hand rod absolutely screamed off with a mega common & a new Pb (post coming) 👀 I was absolutely buzzing 🎉🍾. The rod went straight back out whilst I slowly packed down and sure enough after about and hour the same rod was off again 🫣 resulting in this absolute mega mirror at 34lb 10oz 😮💨.
This is certainly a session I will never forget 👍🏻.
