Elevate Baits cameraman Tony Overal recently got the rods out on a content shoot at Mayflower Pool in France and was rewarded with 4 Carp to 56lb 8oz with the other 3 being over 40lb.
Tony uses our Maple & Mulberry bait all year round and pairs it with the Cream Stim PVA pellet mix as this combo gives him complete faith when he’s getting the rods out.
The successful hookbait choice was a Maple & Mulberry Dumbell Hookbait tipped with half a 12mm Super Squid Pillow presented on Slip D and Noodle Rigs.

Young angler Carter Williams recently fished a session on Loggies Lake at The Stour Valley Fishing Complex in Kent and was rewarded with 2 incredible captures from the popular day ticket venue.
The first an incredible fully scaled carp at 32lb 2oz followed by a 29lb 2oz common.
The successful approach for Carter was to use Garlic Infusion Dumbell Hookbait topped with Pillow hookbaits and fished over Garlic Infusion Crush that was soaked in matching liquid food.

Paul had a fantastic week landing multiple big carp up to 52lb with a carp called Ronnie.
The bait choice for Paul for his weeks fishing was to use Garlic Infusion Dumbell Wafter hookbaits fished over Garlic Infusion Crush!

Ricky Jarvis recently visited Martello Lakes in Kent and Found a nice clear area between some gravel at 5 - 6 wraps and started to introduce some bait to the zone made up of Spicy Chorizo 15mm and 18mm.
7 to 8 catapult pouches every hour or so to build up a nice scattering of freebies, in total about 2 to 2.5 kilo went in.
Ricky presented a D rig with 18mm spicy chorizo and Sweetcorn pillow topper,
The trap was set!
The rod was away with an absolute one toner. After a back and forth battle for like 10-15 minutes it was ready to net and the result was this 46lb 12oz mirror and a new PB for Ricky!

Tom Bovver Morrison recently visited Berners Hall Fishery in Essex and had an incredible session!
Tom landed 7 fish with the largest being a 45lb 6oz mirror known as Axel and also a new PB for Tom.
The tactics used by Tom for the session was to fish Slip D rigs baited with either Garlic Infusion Dumbell Hookbaits or Spicy Chorizo wafters with a sweetcorn tipper and fished over Garlic Infusion Crush and Elite pellet mix that was coated in the Garlic Infusion Oil.

After coming last in the draw young angler Frankie Brailey chose a swim which he was hoping to get and was surprised that it wasn’t taken.
With his first day uneventful, he found some spots at 21 wraps out and baited his rigs with Banana & Pineapple Pillow hookbaits on 2 rods on the spots, then took a gamble with the 3rd rod on a short spot at 12 wraps in front of him.
Frankie baited his areas with Garlic Infusion & Maple and Mulberry boilies with corn and Garlic Infusion Elite Pellet mix.
The closer rod screamed into action on the second day and he instantly knew it was a bigger carp, upon getting it on the mat, Frankie was blown away when it tipped the scales to 37 pound!

Putting in the graft this spring, Jamie Hynard had felt a little hard done by. although he was catching regularly with some stunning carp up to 37lb, most of these were recaptures.
Jamie knew if he kept going eventually one of the lakes remaining prizes would slip up including the big common.
Jamie had booked the first full week of May off from work, and although the common had been caught a few weeks previous he had a feeling it would slip up one more time before spawning.
So finally the day arrived and Jamie was on his way to the lake, with a tip off that fish had been seen in a zone of the lake he had been catching from already and he didn’t hesitate in getting the rods placed with a good helping of the Garlic infusion.
A great bbq, and a few beers followed with his friend Callum to celebrate his recent engagement before retiring to bed.
As was the norm with this zone the first bite came on the left hand rod in the early hours of the morning with a mint low 20lb. With the rod redone… it wasn’t long before Jamie was away again, this time it was the middle rod and it wasn’t long before a 27lb mirror was in the net.
Jamie was not even able to sort the first two fish out before the left had rod was away again, a short but savage battle followed and he safely slipped into the net White Tips at a colossal weight of 49lb 6oz!’
What a carp Jamie, we know how much you wanted to catch this amazing fish. Well done to you on your persistence and great angling 👏👏
