Yesterday was busy: I joined @bikejcgram neighbors in the morning and rode to City Hall for Bike to Work Day 🚲, and finished work at City Hall with the Palestinian Flag raising led by @yousefjsaleh 🇵🇸 I am so grateful our city stood proudly in solidarity with the Palestinian people mourning the Nakba, celebrating the culture, and committing to an end to genocide and occupation and a beginning of a Free Palestine Photo credit to @jbrophoto

Van Keuren is trying to approve a 750 ton per day trash facility in an overburdened community in Jersey City, bringing 260 truck trips a day, diesel pollution, and more environmental harm into a neighborhood that is already overburdened. State law says this permit should be denied, and the facts back that up. We’re going to stop it. Go to the link in bio to send a comment. #jerseycity #trash
