Every tenant deserves to know how their utility charges are calculated. Join us in regulating Ratio Utility Billing Systems (RUBS) this Wednesday afternoon at our city council meeting.
Another busy day yesterday! Saturday, I joined neighbors on our Vision Zero street safety walk, spent time with folks at the Mental Health Fair my office helped organize with @thebritofoundationnj and @healthier_jc , then popped over to the @centralheightsjc Block Party (shout out to Reni and Jeff!) before rocking out at @jerseycitycemetery with @dreamjobband_nj and more
Yesterday was busy: I joined @bikejcgram neighbors in the morning and rode to City Hall for Bike to Work Day 🚲, and finished work at City Hall with the Palestinian Flag raising led by @yousefjsaleh 🇵🇸 I am so grateful our city stood proudly in solidarity with the Palestinian people mourning the Nakba, celebrating the culture, and committing to an end to genocide and occupation and a beginning of a Free Palestine

Van Keuren is trying to approve a 750 ton per day trash facility in an overburdened community in Jersey City, bringing 260 truck trips a day, diesel pollution, and more environmental harm into a neighborhood that is already overburdened.
State law says this permit should be denied, and the facts back that up.
We’re going to stop it. Go to the link in bio to send a comment.
