@disha.dhadiwal is a textile artist & designer exploring the intersection of materiality, tradition & sustainability. Educated at Parsons School of Design & Central Saint Martins, her work bridges contemporary design with deeply rooted craft practices.
Working primarily with natural dyes, her process is guided by the philosophy of ahimsa, or non-violence. Through plant-based dyes, she embraces an intuitive & slow approach, where color emerges through time, layering, & interaction with natural elements. Her practice considers each stage of making an ecological act, aiming to minimize harm across the life cycle of materials through mindful sourcing & careful processing.

@calcuttakitchens is bringing Bengali flavors to the table, using local seasonal greens to create special savory snacks served with traditional chai and sweets.
Moving continents to start a new life in America was not part of her plan but the love of cooking & feeding kept her connected to her roots. She opened her first brick-and mortar store in Kingston in 2022.
