BONGORNO!! YESSS!! Of course we had to do another Quentin Tarantino tribute, the man was, is and will forever be one of our main sources of inspiration… Everybody who has seen Inglourious Basterds will remember Aldo Raine a.k.a. Aldo the Apache, the battle hardened commanding officer of the Basterds… The scene he’s most remembered for though is where he uses the alias “Enzo Gorlomi” an Italian actor, to infiltrate a party thrown for the Führer, where he’s of course quickly exposed by Hans Landa because of his horrible non-existing knowledge of the Italian language… (Fun cinematic little fact, the name, Enzo Gorlomi is a reference to Enzo G. Castellari, the director of the 1978 film The Inglorious Bastards, which inspired Tarantino’s movie. In Russian, “Gorlomi” can mean “throat,” and the character Raine has a noticeable scar on his throat, making the name a potential in-joke about the scar…) This is the fourth @bradpittofflcial INSPIRED (I’m writing this to all the vinegar pisssers that just had to comment “That’s not Brad Pitt” 🙄🙄 No shitt Sherlocks, loosen up, we’re just having some fun here) hair photo, one more to goooooo 😱😱 Can you guess..? Of course we had to pay tribute to at least ONE character from a @quentin.quarantino movie played by @bradpittofflcial I absolutely worship his movies and I’ll never forget the day I saw Pulp Fiction in a little movie theatre in Groningen, I remember watching it three days in a row… We had NEVER seen anything like it… Like no other, Mr. Tarantino knows how to create characters you’ll never forget… And of course Cliff Booth is one of them… I absolutely LOVED his character in Once Upon a time in Hollywood so when @schelefromholland came up with the plan for this tribute-shoot I was STOKED!! Today is the premiere of the F1 movie with Mr. @bradpittofflcial A good reason for yours truly, the DREAMTEAM and of course the legendary @reuzel brand to pay a little tribute to the iconic actor and his equally iconic hairstyles… I think that in my 36 years long career Brad Pitt is THE most asked for inspo-picture celebrity (Welllll, right after Jennifer Anniston in Friends a.k.a. “The Rachel” 🤢🤣) Which Brad Pitt hairstyle is YOUR favorite..? DREAM (the) BIG (apple) Try to imagine, ten years ago, a guy tried to cook a can of home-brewed pomade in the kitchen of a really, REALLY small barbershop called @schorembarbier almost setting said shop on fire because he “forgot it was on the stove” 🙄🔥 TRUE STORY… Now try to imagine being on the legendary TIMES SQUARE in New York City seeing that same brand of pomade on one of the larger than life billboards or on the roof of one of the 1000 yellow cabs cruising the Big Apple… TRUE STORY… You got goosebumps yet..? No..? Well, I do… Fckn’ EAGLEBUMPS!!! When your model turns into your muse and thén becomes your partner it is hard, VERY hard to write a caption without turning it into a drooling, mushy love poem but I’ll try my best… 🫠😉♥️ If there is ONE format that @jelleinmyear and myself can claim to be “our” signature go-to it would be the NINE-FRAME… We are both a bit obsessed with that magic number and we build quite the collection through the years… Bleached, gingers, beards, transformations, when we come up with an idea we ALWAYS try to somehow get nine images within a certain theme because it’s not just the composition that’s pleasing to the eye, it’s also the perfect photo carousel on Instagram starting with the main-frame followed by 9 close-ups… Gonna post 9 9-frames the next 9 days to build a perfect grid and of course I’m gonna start with the one and only chameleon of cool, @batcitybabe simply because I just CAN’T STOP STARING AT HER, I know I’m a bit biased but what a dream of a model to work with, every photo Jelle took was a gem… 🫣😂 SCROLL DOWN ON MY PAGE TO LEARN MORE ABOUT THE ICONS SHOOT where we took inspiration from gender bending icons in pop culture to create this collection.
