So sad saying goodbye to @thefacemagazine , this incredible thing we built with the best of the best team.
7 (!) years ago, @ellierosewarner and @brooke_mccord gave me a chance to join The Face as it was relaunching. In that near decade, 26 issues later, I learned what it means to tell stories with integrity and passion and curiosity and humour. To interview brilliant artists and write/edit/commission features about culture, music, film, sex, money, LIFE (secretly my favourite section of the site) across both in print and digital. I am so proud to have helped lead a team who had so many excellent ideas.
Thank you, of course, to @m_j_whitehouse for leading the way; to @infinite____jess , @_davyreed , @eniitay , @tiffany.l2 , @alexa.venuss , @carmenfribbins , @merlebutcher , for caring so much and putting everything into The Face. To the fashion, design, studio and production teams who helped make the mag so great 🌹🪽
Relaunching a magazine is really hard, but I think we did a good job. Thank you to everyone who contributed along the way. Grab the last issue if you can – it’s a really good one. And keep an eye out for a few more special bits before we bow out for good. Long live The Face. Xxxxx

Back in the ’80s, the most common living arrangement for 18 to 34-year-olds was to be living in a home they owned, with their kids. Now, the most common living arrangement for that same age group is to have moved back in with their parents (!)
For the last issue of @thefacemagazine , I went and spoke to some of these families around London, about the emotional/financial impact of moving back in with mum and dad, and the continuously shifting goalposts of adulthood. So grateful they took the time to chat with me about these generation-defining things. Link in bio 🏡👼
Beautifully shot by @kuba_ryniewicz with brilliant casting by @isabelbush_
