The Face is unlike any place I’ve ever worked. I knew after my first meeting with
@m_j_whitehouse that it would change everything, in the best way possible.
On my first day, I remember walking into the office and meeting what I now know to be the best editorial team. I immediately felt at ease, (even when I was asked to do an interview with Erykah Badu (!) in my first week) because I knew they all had my back and believed in me.
Two years later, that hasn’t changed. I’ve had the privilege of working with an incredible group of people, creating stories and a magazine that mean more than words can say – and there’s no one else I’d rather have done it with.
Working at The Face has been one of the best experiences of my life, and it’s pushed me to grow – sometimes in uncomfortable ways – but always for the right reasons. It’s been such fun writing fashion stories I’ll forever be proud of, both in print and digital. I’ve learned from the best editors, and had the chance to commission and edit pieces from brilliant thinkers and writers.
