One year ago we brought you home in the wake of absolutely obsessing over you on NWAC instagram page. Mom chipped in to help you survive your surgery and we hoped we could be the lucky ones to get to adopt you. Nori was nervous when you came home, but after a couple of weeks, she accepted you as her lil Sester. She tells me she loves having you around to chirp at the crows with, to tackle and play with, to have you chase her around. She loves when you groom her (to a degree). She loves when you sneak up on her and spook her! And she loves doing the same. We love your crazy meows (especially your "WHAT THE HELL?!" meow.. that one is Dad's favorite). We love your biscuits. We love your agressive purrs. We love that you joined our family and love you so so so much! You have made our lives infinitely better and we are so happy to be your parents. Thank you for being in our life, you cute lil bean. Happy gotcha day! I love you so much Sesame 💜🐈⬛️💜

To me, this is PEAK Bass Coast. It doesn't get much better than this. To share it with your friends, first time Bass Coasters, and all the other BC veterans who know of this deliciousness is an absolutely divine moment. The vibes were at an all time high for this one. I laughed, cried (sobbed actually), danced, relaxed, and was instantly grounded through the sonic journey Tor takes us on. Beautiful soundscapes blended with captivating drums create a capsule of ethereal downtempo that is sure to make the "best of Bass Coast" list every single time.
We love seeing Tor come share their art with us and set the mood for the rest of the festival every time they get up on stage.

Every single day I feel so lucky to have this little one in my life. She is so silly, so derpy, so stretchy, so sweet, and so purrfect in every way. The bestest and greatest alarm clock to ever live. She is a daily motivator and life coach and gets you up and running. She is the perfect companion to our Nori and as much as Nori loves to pretend she is annoying, she loves her so so much and is so sweet and tender with her. They are the best Sesters 🐈⬛️💜🐈⬛️. She lights up my life despite being a little void. I feel so lucky that I get to raise her with @sinead.like.lemonade . She brings such joy into our lives every day and is a reminder of how much impact we can have on the lives of others. She inspires me to be the best version of myself and I thank her every day for entering my life.
I am so thankful for @northwestanimalcompanions , who brought us together. I cannot recommend them enough. They are such a gentle and patient organization who listen and care and genuinely fight for the well-being of little ones. It is remarkable to see the positive impact they create in this community and to see it ripple out brings me so much joy.
A reminder to you all that loving a pet is such a privilege and that it is nothing to take for granted. Thank you Sesame for reminding me every day how lucky and fortunate we are. I love you 💜
@basscoastfest has 4 stages that are all so special in their own way. A favorite of mine year after year is Slay Bay. Expect to see extremely well curated sets ranging from ethereal experimental bass music to jungle to delicious downtempo to hard driving house music.

Bass Coast is a festival wrapped around consciousness and deep respect for the land it is on. It is an incredibly beautiful site and we are so priviledged and lucky to be allowed on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the Nlaka’pamux and Syilx people.
In true Counselor Jacob fashion, I will be a point of contact to help lead any festival goers from point A to point B! Giving piggyback rides to those who dare the bumpy journey to their favorite stage. Just remember to drink stay hydrated and wear your sunscreen, so you don't have to rely on me all day 😉.
