An introduction 👋
Hey. I’m Jacob Clark. I’m passionate about people, community, and capturing moments. I’m a commercial photographer and filmmaker, and at the moment, im leading a team with @canoncanada - bringing the EOS R5 and R6 experience to enthusiasts across the country. I couldn’t be more stoked to be helping creatives experiment with the tools they use to tell their stories.
The #canonroadtrip has been the trip of a lifetime, and I’m grateful to have connected with a ton of incredibly talented creatives along the way.
I’m curious - have we met? How did we meet? Let me know in the comments.

Isolation ❄
I've always loved connecting with passionate people, and I think that's why I love photography. That being said, I think that photography can be both one of the most connected pursuits, and one of the loneliest. Hear me out. You go out to shoot with friends, make memories, and have an awesome time. Then comes the edits - Many hours spent alone in whatever space you create best in; for me, that's my apartment. I love editing alone, but I also find I can be incredibly harsh on myself when I do that. And I want to change that.
My friend Ryan (@olrightryan ) and I are gonna be getting together for coffee and edits at a random coffee spot around Edmonton, hopefully about once a month, and we want to make this an open invite to anyone. You don't have to have any experience with photography, editing, nothing. If you want to come and be a part of community, please join us Sunday Mar 15th at Oliver Exchange for coffee and edits from 6-9pm. Let's hang.
This is my community.
Big ups to the crew that put this photoset together. An absolute dream team.

This one hits a bit different... ✨
Astro photography is something I've always loved. There's something about adventuring in the wee hours of the morning, finding your composition, dialing in settings, hitting the shutter, and then, that wait - The wait between your shutter opening, and seeing the image on camera is filled with suspense. In that moment I felt like a kid on Christmas morning, and when my shutter closed, this was the gift I opened.
Stay safe friends.

Get in loser, we're getting married.
How many fine groomsmen can fit in an old school Chevy nova? The answer, is at least 7.
Grateful for all the couples I've had the opportunity to showcase - especially to @noahbiddlecombe and @_theycallmeeleanor_ for this beautiful day alongside @jayrmcdonald .
What's the most people you've ever fit in a car?

If I have seen farther, it is because I’ve stood on the shoulders of giants.
I’ve been extremely fortunate to have a myriad of mentors throughout my creative career. Friends who have held my hand and lifted me up, in ways I could only have dreamed of just a few years ago. Words aren’t enough to express the gratitude I have for these friends, and if you’re reading this, you know who you are. @jeremycowart is a friend and mentor who captured this photo in camera, with no filters.
This one’s for the mentors.
