Above are the Multnomah Falls in the early winter morning surrounded by mountain and mist. After years of yearning to return to Oregon and this particular part of the Pacific Northwest, we decided to drive 16hour through the night to arrive New Year’s Eve in Portland. The days that followed seemed like a waking dream . This edit incapsulates the experience for me. I’ll be releasing more in the coming weeks as I focus on a more balanced life of adventure and editing.

Priorities are ever shifting theses days as I work on personal challenges and weaknesses. Reflecting on what’s really important in my life and future. I hope to break all my personal walls of self-doubt and fear through right action.

Constantly in surprise and awe of the way that seemingly unrelated events in my life weave together to create the present. A complex tapestry of full circle experience. Nothing seems accidental. Every sensation, every feeling, every interaction an integral part of the story.
The practical magic of choosing things that truly resonate with our hearts, our minds and our biology, shapes the frame of our entire experience. It all comes together.
Having celebrated my birthday a couple of weeks ago, all I want from this year is the opportunity to continue to creating. In more than just physical medium, but also in word, in thought, in action and interaction, in every choice and every kind word offered. As I so poignantly heard at a workshop this past weekend, “a better me is a better you.” We are interconnected, independent and inextricably tied together through the entire journey.

A reflection on the strange and sometimes dark, beautiful moments in nature. For me, this image can evoke eerie feelings of awe and wonder. From these moments arise reminders and insights that can seem lost in the day-to-day experience of life.

Above, we see the surfer standing surrounded by the churn of colliding ocean swells and currents. I find myself visualizing and trying to comprehend this all but forgotten seen. The high winds and dark clouds only seem to further punctuate the fleeting sight.
