You know the weird shit kids throw around every day on the way to kindergarten, when they are long supposed to be asleep, waking you up on Sundays. Unfiltered thoughts, wild theories, pure nonsense just to get your attention. Not scripted, just pure unfiltered thinking. This is what this film is, a reflection of a 6 year old’s thoughts crossing his mind and getting on my nerves, but with great potential to be something. Ideas that bypass adult logic, but are logical in their own way. Today I proudly share the result. Based on a conversation with my youngest son, I recorded “Amber Logic”. Happy to share this beautiful piece of film I had the honor to cut last year. Roughstock is about intention as much as legacy. A heroine who finds her voice not through grand declarations, but through daydream and persistence, shaped by the tension between the concrete streets that raised her and the open country still echoing at its edges.
