Embracing traditional and digital techniques, Farley’s work is as sentimental as it is a parody, pondering on art, history, religion, and everything in between. Accepted forms are fragmented, repurposed, put back together, and then broken once more to explore memory, authorship, the mutability of history, and the irony of the now.
@parisphotofair is the world’s largest art fair dedicated to photography and image-based art.

Jackson Farley (@jackson__farley )’s EDEN’S GARDEN coming to THIS IS NO FANTASY in July.
A reclaimed dystopian paradise populated by collapsing mythologies, caution tape, burning Holdens, LED serpents, tyre monsters, red-brick suburbia, and inherited fantasies of belonging.
Drawing on the biblical story of Genesis as a starting point, Farley uses the Garden of Eden to interrogate contemporary ideas of paradise - what people fight for, fence off, inherit, and attempt to preserve. Here, paradise persists not as loss, but as ownership.

Got new passport photos today — and thought it was finally time to hard launch my ratty.
We’ve been together for about a year now — and it’s going really really really well — like better than I ever could’ve ever imagined ❤️
Some observations I’ve noticed over my journey — and how that translates to personal leadership:
🧠 Whatever I was trying to figure out — solve — heal — by growing it — hasn’t yet been resolved. 💉 Got blood test results back (I have low normal testosterone apparently) while ratty doesn’t boost me chemically — emotionally, my ratty makes me feel stwong. 🔪 I get scared little eshays will cut it off when I’m on the train — risk management is part of the growth journey. 🤝 It’s built deep personal connection with those who have plaited it — thank you Gina, Dana, Rena, Alex, Mel, Eloise, Sana, Manon, and Mum — I treasure the connection. 🌳 Like leadership — hair takes time to foster and grow — I’ve already ideated my 2035 passport photo (see pic) — the ratty is the thru–line.
And with all that, I’m afraid to admit it.
But my ratty has completed me.
It’s told me who I am and allowed me to embrace a roadmap for the future that I didn’t think possible.
It’s set me free.
So I urge you — all my instagram followers — to consider…. what’s your ratty? Are you willing to let it shape you?
