OLIVIA CHIN 𝘞𝘈𝘓𝘒𝘐𝘕𝘎 𝘗𝘙𝘈𝘊𝘛𝘐𝘊𝘌 01 - 23 MAY 2026 THIS IS NO FANTASY is pleased to present 𝘞𝘈𝘓𝘒𝘐𝘕𝘎 𝘗𝘙𝘈𝘊𝘛𝘐𝘊𝘌, a solo exhibition of new work by Naarm/Melbourne-based multidisciplinary artist Olivia Chin, her second with the gallery. 𝘞𝘈𝘓𝘒𝘐𝘕𝘎 𝘗𝘙𝘈𝘊𝘛𝘐𝘊𝘌 brings together a body of works transcribed from sketches made during Chin’s time on the Jatbula Trail, located outside Katherine in the Northern Territory. Traversing ancient tablelands shaped by extraordinary plant life and geology, the works emerge from a landscape carrying thousands of years of memory. Through processes of translation, from movement to mark, from sketch to material form, Chin captures the durational experience of walking: the slow accumulation of sensation, the shifting awareness of the body in space, and the quiet intensities of extended time on Country. Please email [email protected] or send us a DM for an exhibition catalogue 🧡 ________________________ Videography by: Simon Strong @simonjstrong #thisisnofantasy #oliviachin @olivechin

JACKSON FARLEY “This is what you prayed for.” Jackson Farley (@jackson__farley )’s EDEN’S GARDEN coming to THIS IS NO FANTASY in July. A reclaimed dystopian paradise populated by collapsing mythologies, caution tape, burning Holdens, LED serpents, tyre monsters, red-brick suburbia, and inherited fantasies of belonging. Drawing on the biblical story of Genesis as a starting point, Farley uses the Garden of Eden to interrogate contemporary ideas of paradise - what people fight for, fence off, inherit, and attempt to preserve. Here, paradise persists not as loss, but as ownership. JACKSON FARLEY EDEN’S GARDEN July - August 2026 Please email [email protected] or send us a DM for an exhibition preview _____________________ #thisisnofantasy #jacksonfarley @jackson__farley

OLIVIA CHIN 𝘞𝘈𝘓𝘒𝘐𝘕𝘎 𝘗𝘙𝘈𝘊𝘛𝘐𝘊𝘌 01 - 23 MAY 2026 The works produced for 𝘞𝘈𝘓𝘒𝘐𝘕𝘎 𝘗𝘙𝘈𝘊𝘛𝘐𝘊𝘌 function as traces – layered material records that hold something inherently ephemeral. They evoke the rhythm of footsteps, the weight of time, and the embedded histories of the land. In the Australian context, where walking is inseparable from the presence of deep and often painful histories, Chin’s practice acknowledges the gravity of what has been lost and stolen. At the same time, 𝘞𝘈𝘓𝘒𝘐𝘕𝘎 𝘗𝘙𝘈𝘊𝘛𝘐𝘊𝘌 holds space for the joy and subtle magic of moving slowly through the landscape: the intimacy of shared experience, the act of noticing, and the possibility of seeing more fully. Please email [email protected] or send us a DM for an exhibition catalogue 🧡 ________________________ 1.
