INTRODUCING JACK READ Jack Read is a DJ and record collector with a deep knowledge of house, hip hop, dub and leftfield electronica that speaks to the body & soul. Jack is 1/4 of the team (and the graphic designer) behind Corner Store - a Pōneke dance music collective and record label. Together with Isobel Caroll, he also hosts ‘In Good Company’, a monthly show on Mouthfull Radio focused on the sharing of music between friends, whānau and a wider community. With selects old and new to ignite the dancefloor.

Join us at @b.space.club 21/23 Cambridge terrace on the 2nd of October. Starting at 6pm and going til late. ———-——————————————————————— Communitas; latin for community is defined within Anthropology as “the sense of sharing and intimacy that develops among persons who experience liminality as a group.” Our exhibition looks to Wellington’s club and skate culture as an example of our own Communitas.
