Step into the jungle this King’s Birthday weekend as Corner Store takes on Valhalla.
We’re super excited to be bringing junglist producer/DJ duo okty (AKL) and Paz (CHC) to Pōneke for this stop on their tour of Aotearoa, in celebration of upcoming collaborations on UK labels Motive Hunter and N4HC. Also pushing the jungle / drum & bass / hardcore / leftfield sounds on the night will be local selectors Unwell, Ohimesama Breaks and 3TC.

Artist spotlight: NYMPHLOADS
A founder of local crew Sigil Sound, NymphLoads is a triple entendre, reflecting the aims of their work on the decks. It’s sexy, it’s body, it’s metamorphosis. They come armed with a plethora of global club sounds, aiming to deliver a suite of unconventional yet unforgettable music. They play with sonic imagery and extremes to deliver otherworldly sets, pulling from many sources to build an image through music. Motivated by the talented selectors in the Aotearoa underground, they continue to learn from and explore the underbelly of global club music, sharing as they go.
Artist spotlight: Cee
Cee is a Pōneke based dj originally from Tāmaki. For this set she will combine her longtime love of footwork and the classic acid sound that is a staple in her sets. Over the past year she has been honing her craft on Mouthfull radio and playing a range of gigs across Pōneke.
Artist spotlight: Lakeboon
Lakeboon (Ngāpuhi, Ngāti Kuri, Ngāti Makea Ārera – Rarotonga, Pāmati) channels forward-thinking sounds at the intersection of electronic experimentation and indigenous identity. A driving force in Aotearoa’s emerging hiko movement, his mahi fuses percussive rhythm, ambient texture, and cross-cultural resonance across the full spectrum of tempo.
A dynamic artist with releases on Teeth Clippers, Glitz Club, 245 Science & Research, and standout features with Ōtautahi collective The Big Fresh Collective.
