Burn survivor study. It’s so often that a burn makeup is used to represent a mutant or villainous person, and I wanted to do a makeup that instead captures the vulnerability that isn’t often portrayed . There is an unimaginable mental and physical pain that survivors go through, and it was so important to me to convey empathy towards this struggle.
