This is @noahriversfx and I want to congratulate him on his outstanding recreation of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre masks for Monster season 3 The Ed Gein Story. Noah was new to the AFX team and we made some crazy stuff for the show but I just wanted to take a second to thank Noah for going way above and beyond. La Monte Westmoreland: A Survey, 1974 - 2024
This is Wes to most, he and his wife and his house full of art survived the Alta Dena fire!!!He was my art teacher at Samohi and is the only reason I graduated. Not only did I graduate I was voted most artistic by my senior class!! There is a wonderful show at the Parrasch Heijnen gallery in Boyle Heights near DTLA. It’s a survey of his entire career. Do yourself a huge favor and go see it! It’s a beautiful show and a terrific celebration of my favorite artist! Love you Wes and am so grateful to know you and that you’re safe and thriving!
