Thank you @londonbrushco for thinking of me for this project. It’s was so nice to see you after so many years. Love you beautiful woman.
And such a pleasure to meet @mikefontaine_ and to work with him for the first time. Such a talented man.
Thank you @therealve and @gordontarpley for letting me a part of this and trying out my new ColorShift lenses, so good to see you both. Thank you @ppipremiereproducts as always for you support and generosity.
A little something I’ve been working on for a few years now. Thank you Vee Nixie for lending me your eyes at Monsterpalooza, you wore them beautifully.
I’m a believer in excellence over mediocrity .. anyone who knows me well, knows I do not settle unless circumstances call for it. In the world of contact lenses for movies there, for me at least, is only one. She is a trail blazer that changed the road map in how lenses looked on camera. And quite simply put NoOne paints like her or has her understanding of colour. She’s an unsurpassed artist who enables us to evolve our craft to new heights and elevate our vision as well. 💫 Contained in these little boxes are four sets of something that is about to make history in cinema because it has never been done before. I can’t go into detail, but what I will say is that when production wanted to do it with vfx, I said ‘NO!!… Let me call Cristina first; I bet she can do it….’ And unbeknownst to me, she had been secretly developing the very same concept that our director wanted to create in cinema. And so it began one day after a zoom with @mikefontaine_ We were literally at a junction of prototype testing and colour creation right up to the wire to the point that we flew her with her entire inventory to the camera test last week with all the colours she had created.. And she blew the minds of every last crew member watching the test. She’s a genius, a maverick who wears her heart on her sleeve and who will literally work around the clock to deliver. I’ve worked with her for years. Infallible stunning work time after time… The only time she wasn’t able to accommodate me, I had to try someone new.. their colour matching set to set was not up to point, the paint came off the hero set after a couple of weeks and they charged for a remake - something that has never happened with Cristina and if it had, she would have never charged for the rework. I will never use anyone but her again. Lesson learned. And most importantly the joy of creation and camaraderie that we have as a creative team is everything. She’s a phenomenal artist, and a total expert professional. Work demands are always intense these days. Don’t mess around; want my advice? Go straight to the game changers @eyeinkfx is all of that. 💯💯💯
One of my first few jobs as a lens tech, and first time working with KNB. So many great memories working on this 1996 “Spawn” film, late nights at Hollywood Graveyard.
Made a lot of new friendships on this show too that would end up spanning over decades.
Thank you Howard for sending this to me.
Odd Studio (@odd_studio ) hired me to create these crazy design for a show called Mr Midnight back in 2020. Unfortunately, I don’t know much more about it.

Throwback 2004 Peter Jackson’s King Kong. Back when we were young and had more energy.
Probably one of the best times I ever had location.
