Men Against Violence | 14 May 2026 What a day. In contrast to the usual 'Herrentag' - this is what it can look like when men share responsibility for dismantling the systems that normalise violence. ✊️ In solidarity with those most affected by patriarchy and other systems of oppression. We build on the work of visionary feminist movements that have carried this work so far - with care, gratitude and humility. The work doesn't stop here. If you want to move from being 'against violence' into active allyship and solidarity, join us at Beyond Patriarchy (link in bio). 📷 @lukas_stratmann @martinheither @david.seeberg 🔊 Shout out to the many other incredible organisers and speakers continuing this work @nur_ja_heisst_ja @maximal.demokratisch @aurelmertz @havalisergec @tripkid @baharkizilpolat @comeonboys_hamburg @maennergegengewalt ...

What does strength mean when it stops us from reaching out? 💪 When “I’ve got this” turns into a burden; when too much self-sufficiency becomes #loneliness? Many grow up being told to “man up”, to compete, to hold it together—but what happens to our friendships, our sense of connection and belonging in that? This Shared Table Dinner is a special one — for men and those socialized as men — to explore connection, strength, and what we ask (or don’t ask) of each other. In collaboration with Jindy Mann (Leader.Brother.Son) and @jackbecher (Beyond Patriarchy), we’ll open up a space to question stories of competition, self-sufficiency, control, and imagine truer ways of relating. Come join & spread the word! 💥 🗓 Thursday, November 6 📌 @cspaceberlin 🍲 Potluck-style 🏵 Donation-based 🔥 Sign up via link in bio . . . #TheOnelinessProject #SharedTableDinners #relationships #masculinity #menswork #communitycare #Berlinevents

Recap from our second Berlin screening, written by one of the organizers, Alex Rupp: Let's #OutgrowTheSystem - to a more regenerative economy and planet ? ? ! On July 18th, Jack Becher and I co-hosted a film screening and workshop at C*SPACE Berlin : What started with a "I would really love to watch this documentary" led to us organizing this event and a really engaged audience joining us. Thanks to everyone that came and to C*SPACE for providing the beautiful space . After watching "Outgrow the System" by Cecilia Paulsson and Anders Nilsson we took some time to make sense of the #concepts and models that were presented to us and ended the evening with a "mandala" conversation about some of the key questions that came up for us when thinking about what a #RegenerativeEconomy can and should look like. These were the points we discussed: - Understanding “value”: What is valuable to us? What does our current system not value appropriately? - Sensing possibilities: What potential do the models from the film ( #degrowth , @doughnuteconomics Action Lab (DEAL), #SocialBusiness, @wellbeingeconomyalliance #ParticipatoryEconomy ) bring in addressing this value mis-match? - Sharing experiences: What are we already seeing emerging around those models (next to some examples shared in the film)? - Growing this conversation: How do we engage more people in this conversation and motivate action? What if we applied these concepts to our work and lives? We could have spent a lot (!) more time on the conversation and it was really interesting to hear some thoughts and concrete examples. Our conversation that evening once more reinforced the wish and need to bring those ideas into more mainstream conversations (for which the film offers a really accessible format). Let's find ways to get out of our "bubble" to enable the transition towards a regenerative future!

COMMUNITY POWER — The transformation agency Purpose+Motion was supporting the organisational development of C*SPACE in the last year, and we are happy that our collaboration continues beyond that towards healthier, more meaningful and regenerative worlds! On July 18, C*SPACE community member Alex Rupp (from the transformation agency Purpose+Motion) and Jack Becher @jackbecher from the systems change project Foundations Earth) are putting together an evening with a good mix of input (in the form of the very inspiring documentary) and dialogue, making sense of the concepts and how we can move into action. „We are excited to grow the conversation about a regenerative, healthier economy and governance in our neighborhood and city. We know these issues affect everyone, so we want to make them accessible and offer space for people to come together to learn, unlearn and collectively dream and explore new possibilities for the future. We don’t claim to have the answers, but we do believe that through “Outgrow the System” we can provide a fantastic starting point for understanding why we need a new economic system and how we might get there. This initiative actually all started because we were super curious to watch the film ourselves — so who knows where this might lead when we watch it and exchange thoughts all together!? Outgrow the System @outgrow_the_system is a documentary about transitioning to a sustainable economic system, directed by Cecilia Paulsson & Anders Nilsson. With this film we want to democratize the conversation around the economy, ecology, and democracy. Economics should be a topic accessible to all, not confined to experts. We wish to empower viewers to engage in discussions about economic models and to foster hope that change is not only possible, but already underway. Let’s join in the movement for change!“ 📌 Date: Thursday, July 18, 19:00-22:00 (doors open 18:30) Language: English (with English subtitles) Details & Tickets at linktree

The #euelections2024 are in 4 weeks' time. As someone who doesn't have the right to vote in these elections, I feel compelled to urge those who do to use this right. Despite the many valid criticisms of the EU, it is still the only directly elected transnational assembly in the world today - and that's not something we should take for granted. Given the rise in far-right politics - and the rapidly shrinking window of opportunity that we have to transition to living peacefully and justly within planetary boundaries - it is crucial that we use every opportunity we have to make radical transformations possible. If you live in Germany then I encourage you to consider voting for @mera25.de - the political wing of @diem25.org - standing for a truly democratic and non-aligned Europe, with a universal living income and a people's green transition 🌱 As the only political party in Germany that shows up in solidarity with #Palestine and continues to fight for a peaceful solution - even against intense state repression - #MERA25 is a party that I would trust to stay true to its values and fight for a world that I would want to live in. If you're in Berlin then you can also join the campaign launch next Friday (17th May) at @oyounberlin and get to know the programme and people powering this movement ✊️ Including the two incredible candidates for this upcoming election @karin.de.rigo and @johannes.fehr . Links to the programme, events, info on registering to vote and more ways to get involved are all available over @mera25.de 🔗
