CREATIVE HUB • PROGRAMS • LEARNING SPACE • CROSS CULTURE — Creating impact spaces for ideas & encounters across borders
Beyond a physical venue for events and co-working, C*SPACE is dedicated to creating and curating spaces that inspire creativity and foster continuous learning.
Our impact fields include societal cohesion, regenerative and social economy, sustainable cities and communities, and learning and education innovation. We‘re proud members of @creativehubsnet 💫
Here’s what we’ve been working on in the last weeks, month & years:
☀ 𝙋𝙊𝙋-𝙐𝙋 𝙏𝙀𝘼𝙃𝙊𝙐𝙎𝙀 creates a space for transcultural exchange and reflection, serving as a stage for the arts and culture- ranging from poetry, dance, and design to readings, film screenings tocreative workshops, socio-political discussions, last but not least tea culture.

We open the C*SPACE kitchen to dinner gatherings and offer space for experimental food formats in collaboration with exciting co-hosts, including cultural practitioners, culinary creatives, artists, and food activists.
☀ 𝙐𝙍𝘽𝘼𝙉 𝙎𝙏𝙊𝙍𝙔𝙏𝙀𝙇𝙇𝙄𝙉𝙂 𝙎𝘾𝙃𝙊𝙊𝙇, funded by Erasmus+ and developed with @centerforsocialvision (Bulgaria), focuses on using storytelling as a participatory tool to engage young people in the transformation of their neighborhoods, activating communities, and making cities more inclusive. (part of our ‘CITYMAKERS’ network)
☀ 𝙆𝙄𝙀𝙕:𝙈𝙊𝘽𝙄𝙇 @kiezmobil_weissensee , a ‘city furniture’ functioning as a mobile meeting spot in public spaces is a neighborhood project that started cooperation with the local government of Pankow

I didn’t think the perfect role existed for me… and then this happened. 🐝
I’m joining C*SPACE as their Community Bee / Client Connector.
A Bee — the one who cross-pollinates connections, finds the right people, and brings them into a space that just feels right.
Honestly? I’ve already been doing this naturally. Now I get to do it intentionally.
I’ve lived in Prenzlauer Berg for 7 years but only discovered C*SPACE two years ago — and it was love at first sight. This is the space that celebrated my authenticity, introduced me to the right people, and gave me the stage for my very first authenticity talk.
I came for the aesthetic. I stayed for the people.
Now it’s my turn to give that same feeling to others. ✨
And yes — something new is coming. A concept we’re building together. No name yet… but you’ll know soon. 👀
If you’re curious about the space, I’m your person.
Choose joy.

Yesterday we had the pleasure of welcoming Judy Li 李倩老师@judyli_tea — Chinese tea master and intangible cultural heritage representative of Chinese tea culture — to C*SPACE @cspaceberlin for a special tasting workshop . 🍵✨
From white and green to oolong and black, Judy took us on a journey through the rich and diverse world of Chinese tea, demonstrating with grace and precision each step of the Gongfu Cha preparation.
Using wine as a comparative reference, her vivid descriptions brought each cup to life, opening up a whole new depth of appreciation for the teas in our hands.🍃🍂
Thank you, dear Judy, for your warmth, insights, and generosity in sharing your knowledge with us. 🙏
We are already looking forward to welcoming you back in June for a T*SCHOOL workshop — stay tuned for more details! 🌿
Thanks to @giselasmartertea & @deepintheblueblau for your support! 🫶

I am so excited for my first Berlin exhibition, “Thrutopia” — showcasing some of my favorite collage art collaborations with regenerative practitioners! (Please RSVP via link in bio)
While dystopias tend to leave us powerless and paralyzed, utopias are often idealized and unattainable images of the future. What they both fail to do is help us imagine what Stuart Kauffman called the ‘adjacent possible’, or a set of immediate possibilities that are within reach from where we are today, to help create the desirable world we long for. That’s why we need Thrutopias.
Coined by Rupert Reed, Thrutopias are both indicative and suggestive. They lay out a map and articulate the core ingredients of a world worth aspiring to. Rather than sidestepping complex challenges, a thrutopia works through them head-on. As Reed writes: “We need ways of seeing, understanding, inhabiting, creating what will be needed for the very long haul. Visioning the politics and ecology of getting through.”
Thrutopia is at the heart of my art and design collaborations with leading regenerative organizations such as @regenerators.co , Really Regenerative, and Arising Quo. They waymark the world between worlds — between the unraveling of modernity and the more beautiful futures our hearts know are possible.
Working with essence and energy, I create images that approach our times through the lens of archetype and myth. Using old magazines and books, the collages gesture towards what it feels like to inhabit thresholds, hold dualities, co-inhabit place with our more-than-human kin and evolve alongside them.
If you’re in Berlin on May 29, attend the vernissage from 18H, with a welcome address by me and @cspaceberlin co-founder Katja Hellkoetter.
RSVP via the link in bio! This allows you to add it to your calendar and us to know how many of you to expect.
The exhibition is part of @artspringberlin 2026, a yearly festival that celebrates art in Berlin Pankow. C*SPACE is excited to present selected works by four artists from its hub community, kicking off the Weekend of Open Ateliers with the vernissage of “Thrutopia” by Niels Devisscher.

One of our favourite social design innovations from beloved @cspaceberlin : The Pop- Up Teahouse is a series of in and outdoor workshops, talks, performances and tea sessions – curated by cultural manager Katja Hellkötter from C*Space Berlin and event manager/artist Lavia Lin. C*SPACE yard and studios have transformed into an informal cultural and social space for friends of the Asia Berlin community. C For CONCERT — Music in the House & on our Stage
May 12 · Celebrating Burt Bacharach
with Andreas Albrecht & Holger Saarmann
The former furniture factory that houses C*SPACE has long been a place of music as well. One of our close musical neighbors for years has been singer-songwriter Andreas Albrecht.
We’re delighted that, beyond the sounds drifting over from the studios next door, he will now be performing live on stage at the C*SPACE Loft:
Holger and Andreas will celebrate with songs, stories, and rare gems at C-Space in Berlin’s Weissensee district.
Burt Bacharach, one of the greatest pop music composers, wrote countless global hits for Dionne Warwick, Elvis Costello, Marlene Dietrich, Dusty Springfield, The Carpenters, and Aretha Franklin.
Holger Saarmann and Andreas Albrecht are two Berlin-based singer-songwriters who, over the course of 10 years, have hosted countless artists and songwriters—including Sebastian Krämer, Dota Kehr, Bov Bjerg, Manfred Maurenbrecher, Sarah Lesch, Kirsten Fuchs, and others—on their show “Geschmacksverstärker.”
Please come by and enjoy a great musical event with us!
KONZERT – Musik auf unserer Bühne!
