If you’re an active or aspiring artist, manager, or music professional of any kind, Above The Noise is the perfect opportunity to meet with other members of the region’s music community, and learn from top industry experts through a series of carefully curated talks on label A&R, artist management and brand building, to touring and export in live music, and operating grass-roots music venues.
Some behind the scenes from the TREAD launch video. I was a nervous wreck — been holding this vision for years and honestly was stressing most of the day. But it came together exactly how I imagined.
Took over an industrial space (thank you to @momentum.bristol ), brought the van, the gear, and had a lot of fun. Exactly what it’s built for. Now excited to see it out in the world.
Couldn’t have done it without @asianprovocateur — gave me a handycam which kept me busy and made this possible.
Excited to start showing what it looks like in action.
By far my proudest moment — two years of hard work bringing this idea to life.
Today @noodslevels launching TREAD — a modular, mobile studio built to create new creative communities. Our aim is simple: to be a bridge between industry and community.
This is just the beginning. I’m excited, slightly terrified, overwhelmed — and completely ready for what comes next.
