Prosthetics Project ✨. Gracias a mis papás por haber hecho mis sueños realidad 💕✨👩‍🎓
I’m incredibly happy to share this project, one of the most meaningful of my year. In it, I put into practice everything I learned: from airbrush techniques and color theory to the study of cranial dimensions and, of course, my most anticipated class: Prosthetics, where I sculpted every piece from scratch. It was a process full of growth, guided by amazing artists who supported me throughout the entire module and helped bring this idea to life.
The design is deeply inspired by Mexican catrinas, DĂa de los Muertos, and traditional sugar skulls, incorporating iconic symbols such as marigolds (cempasĂşchil), papel picado, and details rooted in my passion for bone anatomy. Every element was chosen with intention, honoring the culture and its visual storytelling while exploring new textures and techniques.
