Your 2026 finish line starts now šŸ’ŖšŸ¼ I’m opening 10 spots for runners and ultra runners who are tired of: • guessing their training • doing too much or not enough • getting injured mid-build • showing up to race day underprepared This is coaching built on structure, consistency, and real support, not just a PDF plan. Road, trail, ultra -> if you have a goal, we’ll build the path to get you there. šŸ“© Link in my bio to apply for a 2026 spot.

Last Thursday, @benhagkull took on the challenge of hiking Mt Cheam ā›°ļø. For those unfamiliar with Ben, let me introduce him briefly. Ben is a professional basketball player with an unstoppable mindset. He’s part of the Canadian team, was the first reserve for the @paris2024 Olympic team, just signed a contract to play in Europe, and is also a talented photographer. During my 100k race, Ben stepped up to help @the.endurance.dietitian crew for me and mentioned how happy he was to see me ā€œdo my thingā€ (racing and trail running). The following week, Carol-Ann and I gathered an incredible group of people, showed up at Ben’s place, and said, ā€œToday, you’re going to experience trail running with us!ā€ Check out his latest posts to read the full story from that unforgettable day āœŒļø Thanks again to everyone that made that day possible šŸ™ @zmelhus @adventuresofjenthar @calebhagkull @charlotte_watkins1 @hagkull @sheryl.hagkull @seth_bergen @colbyp01 @kate_klassen @_jaydenlee Tyler B, Cole, Carolyn and Alvin (without forgetting the šŸ)

Trail running has been taking the world by storm, and it’s about time we take part in all the fun it has to offer. Come find out what this off-road running sport is all about from two experienced trail runners: Jeremy & Carol-Ann Rolle. These two Chillwack runners can talk about everything and everything trail running, so we thought we should capture their combined knowledge into this 101 in-store clinic. Whether you’re just starting out, or come from road running, this clinic will give you some great insight on making you a better trail runner. Here’s what we have in store for you: šŸƒā€ā™‚ļøHow to get started ā„¹ļøTrail running tips and tricks šŸ”ŽFinding the right gear šŸ«Sports nutrition for the trails and at home šŸŗBeer, šŸ·Wine and 🄤refreshments for purchase + šŸæ Free Popcorn! Race Recap Gorge Waterfall 100K — DNF Not the day I was hoping for, but that’s part of the game. 3:30am alarm → breakfast → drive → warm-up → 5am start line. Standing there chatting with other runners in the dark, I suddenly realized I was at the front with all the pros (and the photographer which explains that šŸ“ø with the @headsortrails buff on @daybreakracing social mediašŸ˜…). The first kms were fast (as always), but I kept myself in check, staying patient and saving energy for later. Letting a big group taking the lead and leaving me in the dust. The course delivered exactly what it promises: insane waterfalls, running behind them, unreal views the whole way. At the 20K I rolled my ankle but it settled quickly. After seeing great runners already dropping from ankle issues, I got hyper-focused on not letting it happen again. Maybe a little too focused. At around 22K, I tweaked my knee and felt an immediate sharp pain. I told myself it would loosen up if I kept moving. Sometimes that works… this time it didn’t. I kept pushing all the way to 55K, into my first crewed aid station, but before I even told @the.endurance.dietitian what was going on, she knew. The way down to the aid station, she saw me moving in a way I shouldn’t have. But like any solid crew and wife would, she told me to push through the pain to the next aid and see assess there. I left… made it about 100 meters… took three big steps into the next climb… and I knew it was over. So I turned around and went back. That decision wasn't a fun one. I have been training for months, I showed up ready to fight mentally to get to that finish line in sub 10hr but everything ended at that 55k aid station. Am I disappointed? Yeah. But there’s a difference between quitting and making the call that protects the rest of the season. Turns out it was the right decision. During that tweak, I put a tear in my meniscus. I still have @qcmegatrail 80k, @squamish50 50/50, @kodiak_ultramarathons 100k and trips with friends that I want to be in good shape for. I’m super grateful for the training, the lessons, and especially the crew out there with me @ohjimme @monteith.tj šŸ™šŸ» šŸ“ø @somerrunner @jamesholk

Yesterday was a crazy day! Myself (Micah), Jeremy, and Kruz all set out for Young Life’s Ski Everest Fundraiser! The goal is to snowboard the vertical equivalent of Mt. Everest (8,849m)! Jeremy and I finished and fully completed the entire challenge while Kruz still crushed over 30+ laps! We started at 9:30am and ended at 7:30pm! A 10 hour day in nothing but rain, fun, and stokešŸ¤™šŸ¼It was physically and mentally exhausting but we’re all so glad we participated and have currently raised over $1,600 for Chilliwack YL and sending kids to camp! HUGE shoutout to everyone who donated, for @the.endurance.dietitian for fuelling us with food and support, and for ALL the staff at @sasquatchmountainresort for cheering us all on and keeping a tally of our runs for us! We couldn’t have done it without all you! Thank you all!!šŸ«¶šŸ¼

POV: You’re a trail runner who accidentally ran fast on pavement. Race recap: Signed up for a half marathon thinking it would be ā€œgood to get speed for the trail season.ā€ Ended up running 76 minutes and questioning my entire identity. No roots. No rocks. No 1,000m of vert. No snacks every 30 minutes. Just… rhythm and suffering. At km 5: ā€œThis is uncomfortable.ā€ At km 10: ā€œWhy is everyone still running this fast?ā€ At km 15: ā€œI miss climbing.ā€ At km 18: ā€œCommit.ā€ At km 21.1: 76 min PB and a mild existential crisis. Turns out all those mountain miles translate to something other than quad destruction. Still prefer dirt. But today we respected the pavement. 🫔
