Hello friends! Today we announce a new chapter for our studio. We are moving to continue operating under the new name ELECTRIQUE TECHNIQUE. With this comes a NEW WEBSITE and BOOKING PORTAL along with a fresh look. We wouldn’t be here without the commitment and support of HIJINX ALLEY, who have been instrumental in the creation of our studio and the community that surrounds it. Together since 2022 we’ve built and expanded our space into the studio we have today, making of important professional relationships and lifelong friends. Going forward Aden and Spencer will continue to operate the studio. As always, reach out if you have any questions or to book. We’d love to work with you! Some words from HIJINX: In the best way possible, I don’t know how we ended up here. In early 2021 we had a pipe dream to run a DIY venue out of the alleyway behind where I was living, and then eventually build a studio. We had absolutely no experience hosting events or running a business. Aden was one of two people that replied to an open inquiry and upon meeting him it became clear we had to make this happen. Eventually, we landed on the 705 warehouse we call home. It was always a dream of ours to found a thriving creative space and facilitate the community around it, and I can confidently say we’ve now done that. However, HIJINX’ direct involvement in the studio is coming to an end. 2024 was one of our most challenging years both personally and professionally, yet undoubtedly our most fruitful. The friendships we’ve made, artists we’ve worked with, pain we’ve felt, and lessons we’ve learnt along the way have all been invaluable experiences we would not trade for anything else. It’s been through this that we’ve come to recognise our passion lies in not only hosting events, but working closely with artists on touring and building their careers. This will be the main focus of our operations moving forward, however we will be maintaining very close ties with Spencer, Aden & ET. To make things very clear: neither the shows nor studio are going anywhere, and we still all love each other!! 2025 is shaping up to be our biggest year yet, and we’re beyond excited to share it with you all.
