Don’t be fooled by the photos, I fear I’ve very much reached rock bottom again but I’m trying 🫶🌟✨ •Thankyou for all the support lately <3 & to the incredible @healinggnoah for the happy mail! That really cheered me up during a rough week in general hospital 🥹💌 • #mentalhealthrecovery #cptsd #audhd #healingjourney #imtrying

I know this perspective is controversial but I wanted to share.🧡If you’re 13-24 years old I highly recommend @hiddenstrengthuk for free advice, support and therapy. They are incredible💜 • (Taking a little break from TikTok right now hence the lack of activity on there as I’m not in a good place & feel it’s been causing more harm than good for me lately✨) • #shrecovery #selfharmawareness #mentalhealthawareness

My first love wasn’t a person, it was a sport. In hindsight I wish I hadn’t taken my healthy body for granted, let alone the ability to be a competitive gymnast. 🤸‍♂️❤️‍🩹 • This post is inspired by the incredible @izblooms content. Their creativity and bravery inspires me.🌟 • #mentalhealthawareness #gymnast #spinalcordinjury #chronicpain #mentalhealthmatters

February is neda awareness month, here is some reality of the damage eat1ng dis0rd3rs can cause as I’m sick of them being romanticised. • I was reluctant to post anything about NEDA month as I personally feel too aware currently, but I put together this, to show that “changing your body” can often come at a great cost. Hopefully I will try to put together more posts as I’m very passionate about raising awareness about the fact that there’s more Ed’s than just restrictive ones that are just as debilitating, and why I hate the term “disordered eating”. • #disorderedeating #eatingdisorderawareness #eatingdisorderrecovery #neda

I’m writing this, now age 21, devastated after reading an article about a young girl who tragically took her own life after a series of failings in her care. It breaks my heart as this isn’t an isolated event, people shouldn’t be loosing thei lives in facilities created to “Keep people safe”, beds and support should be available to those struggling. (Rest in peace Ellame.❤️‍🩹🕊️) In an ideal world, when warning signs/problems initially surface intervention should take place immediately to help prevent a further decline in mental state, yet there seems to be a recccuring pattern of that not happening. You shouldn’t have to “Get worse” or “Go to extremes” to have your voice heard and be deemed ‘worthy of support’, it should be accesible to all, particularly in the form of early intervention. Too many lives are being lost due to the absence of substantial support & the horrific, neglectful “treatment” people are subjected to in psychiatric hospitals. Something needs to change. I wish I’d been offered interventions as a child/teen when my struggles were emerging rather than approximately 10 years later when both extreme mental and physical damage had been done during the absence of it & due to the loss of hope that services would ever help me. Don’t get me wrong, I do strongly believe that a large part of mental health recovery is down to yourself, you can’t always wait for “something/someone to save you” when let’s be honest, our system is royally f*ck3d. But it’s also understandable that recovery can’t always be achieved independently, people need substantial support (Whether that’s in the community or inpatient care) to keep them on the right track and be there for the darker moments. @ukgovofficial DO BETTER. #mentalillnessrecovery #mentalillnessawareness #mentalhealth #ukgovernment #mentalhealthsupport

I feel like it’s not spoken about enough how detrimental psychiatric wards can be to an autistic individuals wellbeing. 2045 + people with learning disabilities and autism are stuck in hospital and that number is sadly increasing. The mental health bill may have changed but when will there be more “robust” support for those with additional needs in both the community, inpatient and housing services. #autistic #actuallyautistic #psychward #mentalhealthawareness #artwork

@hiddenstrengthuk & no, they are not AI!!!!! More young people struggling need to know about this incredible mental health charity and the incredible free support on offer through their app. I use Hidden Strength myself and they’ve genuinely helped me through some incredibly difficult times, more than mental health services have sometimes. The therapists are so lovely, understanding and judgement free! This charity deserves more funding and recognition. ❤️‍🩹 #mentalhealthrecovery #mentalhealthsupport #mentalhealthawareness #genz #genalpha

Some facts about me that aren’t related to my mental or physical health issues🌟 Because I don’t want my accounts to be solely about those things anymore as I am more than my diagnosi(s) and think it’s important to have an identity beyond your struggles.❤️‍🩹 • #phoebebridgers #mentalhealthrecovery #aboutme #mentalhealthmatters #girlssupportinggirls

As an AUDHD girlie, I’ve always struggled with breathing exercises/skills but I came across this breathing technique on Pinterest and it’s really stuck & helped me, so I thought I’d share!🌸 (Excuse the dodgy lip synch, I uploaded it from my TikTok and it’s all gone out of synch🥲) #audhd #autistic #dbt #mentalhealthrecovery #adhd

I used to be terrified at the concept of unmasking, let alone doing it… I can now say, I am SO glad I began my unmasking journey. So much good has come from unmasking!🫶✨ 💛 •Also, shoutout to the professional who made the anxiety workbook in the first clip, and who was the first person to ever help me make real progress mentally & understand my autism. I don’t know if she wants to/can be named but A, I am so grateful for all you’ve done for me :) 🌟 (More autism content on my TikTok) • • #autism #autismacceptance #autismspectrumdisorder #audhd #autisticadults
