We threw it down at mod club!! Just unbelievable I got to support @imanunami on the Toronto stop of his tour last Friday. Mod club was the first ever venue I went to see a show at after moving to Toronto. It was THEY.’s New Religion: Hyena album Tour (swipe to see my baby face there back in 2017). Crazy full circle moment to have taken the stage here myself years later. Tried to bridge the Toronto club feeling and my og bass influences together for this set and I think it went pretty well! Got to play so much of my and my homies’ unreleased music.. the set recording got all messed up unfortunately, but that energy was unforgettable. Special shoutout to @martinses for recording mad intro vocals for this one🗣️⚡️ Massive love to IMANU and @embracepresents for entrusting me with support duties for this show! This photo was not on my bingo card for 2026 but damn does it make me happy. Just a little over a week ago I played at one of my favourite Toronto venues @standardtime.to with the people who have inspired me a lot in the beginning of my music making journey as a high school kid. And on top of that my EP Akani Dubs came out on @oddsoulsounds that same day. Playing these new records to a room that full of energy and feeling the positive response is a feeling I can’t put into words. This was very special, one of those things you remember forever. I was going through my phone’s camera roll and realized that I have the very moment where it all started captured (slide 3). Back in June at the RUAFREAK release party, @martinses played Kaleidoscope in his opening set, and I saw @cousingregoryyy reaching for his phone to Shazam it when Martin pointed at me in the crowd. We talked later that night and I remember Greg saying he liked the track a lot and said it would go crazy during the peak hour. Fast forward to January, he was so right (see slide 4). Huge shoutout to Martin for lighting this spark, and for being the ultimate whistle hype man (you had to be there) Massive thank you to @keysnkrates and @oddsoulsounds for believing in my sound and giving me such a big opportunity. Feeling inspired and incredibly motivated ❤️ To @cndvsn for being an amazing friend and playing a huge role in shaping the visual identity (strong) surrounding my music in past year. To my dear friends and everyone who came out on that cold night and kept the floor shaking til late. ⚠️New Music ⚠️ Our next release comes from Toronto’s own “Akkai”.  @itsakkai The “Akani Dubs” EP is a hard hitting, 2 piece club weapon that includes percussive afro/tribal bangers “Muh” and “Taekwondo”, which are already seeing wide support from heavy hitters across the club spectrum.  Akkai will be making his ODD SOUL debut on January 23rd in Toronto.     Music link avail for download in bio 📹 @cndvsn

What started as Club Carbonic quickly grew into CC, alongside an open-minded community we’re truly blessed to be part of. Our inaugural TBA party turned out to be everything we’ve hoped for and more - the 🍑 shaking assignment was understood and the energy from y’all were unmatched. It was truly an honour to host the final leg of @realnineteen05 ’s North American tour. A HUGE thank you to the team who made this the DIY party we’ve always wanted to throw: to @querencia__studio for entrusting us with the space, to @philthtrax for the incredible stage design, to @samuelwasserman and @earthworm.underground for making this party sound so beautiful and immersive, to @barcartatelier for curating the coolest bar that fit right into the party aesthetics, to @indepthsubject for lending us his CDJs, to @brandomsmusic for the fog machine, and to @totte_moii35mm , @generator.trax and @realnineteen05 for curating the sonic journey throughout the night. Most importantly, big thanks to YOU for coming out and supporting us over the years. We value this so much and can’t wait to show you what we’ve been preparing for this year. This year has already brought enormous blessings in just two months. Really learning to fully embrace and enjoy the journey through all the ups and downs, and the motivation to keep going has never been stronger. Life is busy, but so good. Also playing my biggest room yet tomorrow at @themodclub opening for @imanunami - mega thankful for the opportunity, can’t wait to blast some weird trippy rumbly hard hitters for yall 🫶🏻 P.S. the fried milk buns at @dahuhotpotcanada are out of this world.
