It’s easy to get caught up in maximising efficiency to the detriment of fun and enjoyment as a touring artist. I certainly have. Trying to get sessions out of every location you visit, only traveling for shows, only for it to lead to you never really experiencing the places you go to, because you’re scared to not always be productive, to fall behind the curve, caught up in the “competition” in your mind. LA was definitely one of those places for me. Full of artists and people to network with, I’d never actually see what this place and its surroundings have to offer.
And however silly it may sound, for me it was a big deal to go out of my way to visit this place and actively not go do sessions or a show.

time has been flying so quickly i missed i’m fine turning 5 recently! it’s still insane to me how this one track changed my life so much and got me to show my art all over the world to this day and beyond. so much love to apashe, cherry lena, high klassified, kannibalen and billelis on the cover too! and of course all of you who have listened to it 🥰
