Two lovely nights with @thebugclubband complete! Cheers to them for having us, had a grand time. Sending them lots of luck for the rest of the tour. Thanks again to everyone who came down early to watch us. Overheard some very pleasant things being said in the men’s bogs about our set. So that’s a plus.
TOMMORROW AND FRIDAY I’ll be playing some ditties to ease people into the evening before rock titans @thebugclubband blow the bloody roof off @eagleinn twice. Rest assured they have some roofers standing by to make the necessary repairs on Friday morning. I’ll be joined on stage by my friend @surfjaz so I won’t have to duet with myself. Tickets are gone so if you missed them you snooze you lose and that. Nervous and excited, hopefully see you there!!!!

Happy about this one, have loved their music for ages. Will be class to see them in such a small venue, I don’t imagine tickets will last much longer so grab one now! 🤟

Really pleased to announce that we’ll be joining our very good friends from @thesnugatherton for a festival in their name up at Fell Foot Wood on August 15th. Tickets available and limited. Sure to be a very nice weekend.🌳
Next month we wave goodbye to Niamh as she jets off to her new life in Australia. Sad to say goodbye to a true sister in musical arms, sadder to say goodbye to a true sista from another mista. Genuinely one of the kindest and most thoughtful people I have the privilege of calling my friend. So excited for her and so jealous. I personally can’t wait to hear what genius she comes up with when not shackled by the oppressive British weather? I am predicting a new sunny pop era for sure…
This Saturday we say goodbye the only way me and the Wimps know how. With extremely well organised and reasonably priced Rock and Roll at @thelloydschorlton - curtesy of legends @tigersandflies - all in aid of their next album which promises to be a masterpiece for sure. So come along and have a nice time with us, and raise money for a most valiant cause.

Chuffed to be playing at @sidneyandmatilda on Friday 24th of July for the Other festival, part of Tramlines fringe, this Summer. A weekend of free music. Would be lovely to see some familiar faces!

This Friday me and the Wimps are playing at @sidneyandmatilda Sheffield supporting @theslowcountryband with @bird_house_songs too. I’ve not asked him yet but I hope Alex will join us on stage for some serious harmonica action at some point. Will be playing lots of new material.

Our next Manchester show will be supporting @tigersandflies for their album fundraiser at @thelloydschorlton on March 28th. I’ve seen Tigers and Flies countless times over the years and I’m always knocked over. We’ve been pals since Arthur knocked on the Blanketman practice room door asking for a guitar string many years ago, Arvin is also an honorary Wimp. They are fully deserving of your cash and attention.
