Every show we produce comes down to the details — the precise alignment of a decal, the exact language on a wall, the invisible things no one notices but we obsess over.
This moment was from a three-day exhibition we curated and co-produced with @the.chai.room at @selva_nyc .
From start to finish, we’re creating the experiences we want to see with the people who feel aligned (even when that means we’re our own interns, our own installation team, etc.)
More on this event and the artists who brought it to life 🔜

Art, culture, and an Asian American seltzer that actually tastes good —
We partnered with @drinklunar as @nyasianartsfestival ’s official beverage sponsor, and from opening night to the final days of our exhibition, they felt like more than just another logo on a flyer. With flavors like Korean Plum, Lychee, and Passion Fruit, Lunar felt aligned with the very community we centered in our work.
Because we talk about producing culture-forward events, we mean every detail down to what’s in your glass. Thank you to Lunar for keeping the community refreshed and the energy flowing!!!

Here's the team behind the New York Asian Arts Festival — an all-Asian, all-women group from @itmeanslight and @discoverakin .
This collaboration began with a shared vision: to create a platform that felt as expansive, layered, and community-rooted as the artists it uplifts.
Together, we shaped the inaugural celebration — a curated group exhibition, anchored by a month-long series of programming that celebrated Asian art across disciplines and generations.

Every June, the rainbow rolls in. Brands celebrate love with parades, campaigns, slogans, and limited-edition everything. But not as often to do these moments capture the essence of what Pride actually feels like: the joy, the intimacy, and the camp — darling, the camp!
We’re looking back at our favorite editorials from @ashish , the Delhi-born, London-based designer known better to his high-fashion peers as the King of Sequins. His art is always captured with its heart preserved, exploring queerness, gender, and beauty through a lens that is both deeply cultural and globally defiant.
A mainstay of London Fashion Week and a favorite of stars from Madonna to M.I.A., Ashish’s glamour marries politics to create campaigns rooted in something more personal than product, a spirit that queers both Eastern and Western ideals of beauty, masculinity, and visbility.
In fashion, it’s not the rainbow that makes it the queer experience. It’s the detail, the intention, the gaze threaded through.

Earlier this spring, we produced Virginia’s largest small business expo during AAPI Heritage Month — and end-to-end production for the Asian American Business Owners Association that brought together 110 vendors and 1000+ attendees.
This wasn’t our usual kind of project, but as a studio founded by immigrant women, it hit close. AABOA’s community spans convenience stores, hospitality chains, and small family-run businesses that have long kept America running, even when America hasn’t always returned the favor.
We were proud to support immigrant entrepreneurship at this scale, and to help create a space for growth, ownership, and intergenerational wealth building.

It takes a village — thank you to everyone who came out to support our debut exhibition!
A special thank you to @juttagallery for their space and hospitality as well, along with everyone who helped bring this to life.
This exhibition — “What Will People Think?” — was part of the first New York Asian Arts Festival, proudly produced by @discoverakin and @itmeanslight ✨
