As ITE students wrap up their 1st week of the new term, we are proud to celebrate Marzuki Nooranas @_mrzknrns ! 💪 Once struggling in his studies in secondary school, Marzuki found his second chance at ITE, where a supportive environment and hands-on learning helped him build confidence and practical skills. 🌟
💡 With encouragement from ITE lecturers Ms Elfa, Mr Jeykanth, and Ms Lena Ng, Marzuki learned to embrace growth over grades and see mistakes as stepping stones to success. 🌱
That foundation took him to @temasekpoly , where he made the Director’s List and joined the TP LEAD Programme, which develops leadership in self and team, community, and global perspectives, and later to @nus_singapore , where he graduated with Honours (Distinction).
Today, he is thriving at @apple .💻 His advice: failure is part of the journey, learn, grow, and find your own path. 🛤️✨
Marzuki’s journey shows that every student’s path is unique, and every beginning holds potential for success!

🤔 What does holistic education look like in practice? That was exactly what a group of 36 delegates from the Better Future Forum came to find out when they visited ITE Headquarters and @itecollegecentral on 12 May 2026.
Hosted by Ms Low Khah Gek, Advisor/ITE, the visit gave delegates an insight into ITE’s approach to holistic student development, industry-relevant training, and preparing students to be career and future-ready. 👨🏻🎓👩🏻🎓🧑🏻💼👩🏻💼
Organised by the Global Institute for Shaping a Better Future (@gi.betterfuture ) — a Teach For All initiative (@teachforall ) — the forum gathered global education policymakers, thought leaders, researchers, philanthropists and student leaders for an immersive learning journey in Singapore — forging connections, exchanging insights, and committing to collective action in support of holistic student growth and a better future. #iteglobal 🤝🌍

The World Cup ⚽️ fever is here!
ITE College Central is bringing the excitement to campus with its own World Cup-inspired 7-a-side football tournament, featuring 48 student teams representing countries competing in the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The tournament kicked off today, with Singapore football icon Fandi Ahmad officiating the launch. Sponsored by Lion City Sailors Football Academy, it was recognised by the Singapore Book of Records as the largest 7-a-side football tournament in Singapore.

🎓🌟It's College Graduation time at the ITE Colleges 🌟🎓
Big congratulations to 👦🏽Muhammad Faezin, 🧔🏽♂️Mohamed Yasin, and 🧕🏼Norliza! For the past three years, the father-mother-son trio had been attending classes together at ITE College Central. And today, they celebrated their graduation as a family 🥳
According to 56yo Norliza, she convinced her 58yo husband to sign up for the part-time Higher Nitec in Interactive Design course together with her son, Faezin, so they could spend time with him and support him as he picks up a new skill. She wanted Faezin, who is mildly autistic and holds two Nitec certs, to upgrade and obtain a Higher Nitec certificate in hopes of creating more options for him.
Though it was challenging juggling full-time work with studies, especially with commutes across the island (Faezin worked in West while the family lives in the East!), but they made it work. As a bonus, Norliza and her husband also picked up new skills and discovered a newfound love for photography! Though much of what they learnt were not related to their work, the knowledge they picked up did help them.
Norliza applied her newly-learnt AI skills at work while Yasin channeled his skills towards pursuing personal interests. And for Faezin? The couple tasked their IT-loving son to upload the photos they have to create something the family can use!
A family that learns together, grows together, and we are excited to see what’s next for them! 📸💻

🤔 #doyouknow what is the H.E.L.P. mnemonic? It is a memory tool created by the @singaporeheartfoundation (SHF) to help individuals, particularly women, to identify the symptoms of a heart attack.
🤝❤️ Earlier today, ITE and SHF jointly organised the “United Hearts, One Cause – Spot H.E.L.P., Act Fast” event at @itecollegewest (ITE CW) to officially launch the H.E.L.P. mnemonic, raising awareness of atypical heart attack symptoms more commonly experienced by women.
Guest-of-Honour, Ms @rahayumahzam , Minister of State, Ministry of Digital Development and Information, and Minister of State, Ministry of Health, officiated the launch. The event also featured a Heart Healthy Culinary Innovation Competition by ITE students, two Singapore Book of Records attempts – “Largest word formation made of sewn rubber hearts” and “Most number of people attempting the 3-minute step test in 1 hour”, as well as interactive educational booths by SHF and ITE CW.
