What makes the Global Institute's approach different? We don't begin with fixed solutions.
We begin by learning from educators, leaders, and communities who are already doing powerful work. Asking what helps students grow, what helps systems change, and what leadership makes that possible.
Because better change starts by learning from what's already working.
We help educators and leaders learn from what's working in classrooms around the world. Through workshops, fellowships, forums, and shared resources, we help practical ideas spread so more students can benefit.
Because when educators learn together, change can happen faster.
At the Global Institute, we are working towards a future where every child has the education and support they need to shape a better future.
We do this by helping educators and leaders around the world learn from each other, so that ideas that are already making a difference in some places can spread further and help more students thrive.
Because when learning spreads, opportunity does too.

Three days. Hundreds of educators, students, leaders, and changemakers. One shared question:
What will it take to reshape education so all students can shape a better future?
As the Better Future Forum 2026 comes to a close, we leave Singapore energised by new ideas, challenged by important questions, and reminded of what becomes possible when diverse voices come together with shared purpose. 🌍
We heard powerful perspectives from students that reminded us why this work matters. We explored bold ideas through the Better Future Showcase. We learned from educators, leaders, and communities reimagining what education can look like in a changing world.
But perhaps the most important takeaway is this:
The Forum was never about leaving with all the answers.
It was about continuing the conversation. Because if the future is changing, how must education change with it?
The work continues. ✨

Day 2 of the Better Future Forum wrapped up with a phenomenal and powerful performance by @kidseducationrevolution (KER)! Truly a testament to what happens when students and young people are given a space to tell their own story.
How are you enjoying the Forum so far? Leave your comments below!

This morning The Better Future Forum was filled with bold ideas, honest conversations, and leaders learning from one another. From transforming systems to rethinking
teacher development, it reminded us that meaningful change happens when people
come together with a shared purpose.

At the Better Future Forum welcome dinner last night, @chloetong shared a powerful reminder: education doesn’t happen in schools alone.
As a parent and advocate behind the #STOPbullying campaign, she spoke about the importance of building environments where kindness, respect, and inclusion are the norm, and not the exception.
Her reflections highlighted the role parents play as active partners in their children’s learning, the need for stronger alignment between schools and families and the importance of raising not just academically strong students, but empathetic and compassionate individuals.
Because when schools, families, and communities work together, we create the conditions for every child to thrive. #betterfutureforum2026 #globalinstitute
Today we welcomed global education leaders to
the Better Future Forum in Singapore and
learned from those leading change locally
about Singapore's journey towards holistic
student development.
Speakers shared the importance of shifting
culture and practice both inside and outside of
schools to achieve a broader societal
commitment towards developing students
holistically with the knowledge, skills, agency,
wellbeing, awareness, and connectedness to
shape a better future.
And this is just the beginning ✨

We’re excited to launch the Beacons of Learning Design (BOLD) Fellowship, a flagship initiative of the Global Institute for Shaping a Better Future and Transcend Education.
The BOLD Fellowship brings together leaders from some of the world’s most transformational schools and learning environments to help reshape education for a better future.
Our Fellows are leaders who:
- Champion holistic student development
- Lead distinctive learning environments
- Act as “lighthouses,” influencing others beyond their own contexts
- Commit to deep local impact while advancing global learning
This year-long journey begins in Singapore next week, where Fellows will come together to explore the critical questions shaping the future of education.
A special thank you to our partners: @alacademy , @the_circle_india@Edrising , @gschoolleaders , @Globalschoolforum
When educators, youth leaders, and system stakeholders come together, powerful conversations happen. The recent Singapore Educators’ Lounge created space to reflect on how we can support students holistically so they have the knowledge, skills, and opportunities to shape a better future.
