If I was told that within the first year of my acting career, I would debut as the eponymous character of an impactful movie that would win a ton of awards, I would have smiled in surprise and said "Amen" 😂

Isoken Aruede is a vibrant performing artiste, event compère, and media personality with a diverse creative background.
She holds a degree in Media & Communications from Pan-Atlantic University and has built an impressive portfolio through creative work at Noah’s Ark Advertising Agency, as well as presenting experience on leading radio stations such as Cool FM and Nigeria Info FM.
Recognised for her dedication to social impact, Isoken was selected as a State Ambassador in the fight against gender-based violence, further reflecting her commitment to positive change.
Professionally trained in the arts, she received music training from TenStrings Music Institute, dance training from the Society of the Performing Arts in Nigeria (SPAN), and acting training from EbonyLife Creative Academy.
With numerous works across stage and screen, her stage debut was in the award-winning Kakadu the Musical, while her screen debut was in the award-winning film: The Delectable Azeezah Sama.
Ms. Aruede is passionate about quality storytelling, and using her platform to inspire impact and meaningful change.

This story is tense and uncomfortable, but It’s human. Making this film forced me to sit in uncomfortable spaces and trust quiet moments. The cast and crew brought these characters to life in ways I honestly didn’t see when I was writing it.
