Throwback to my favorite Textile Design Project of 2023:
Montgolfières for the Louis Vuitton Bébé Campaign
Set Designer: Vincent Olivieri
Photographer: Philippe Lacombe
A big thank you to my amazing team for helping me hand-paint 936 Louis Vuitton symbols, sew, and assemble all three balloons in just five days.
Textile Design Assistants:
Andrea Juric @deajuric
Cecile Betbeze @cecilebetbeze
Iris Favand @if_collection_
Karolina Mickeviciute @__karolinami
Seamstress: Léa Habault
Being a Set & Textile Designer leads to a lot of fun and sometimes quite bizarre situations - Having 12 bébés on set and gently placing them one by one in a sea of cotton clouds was definitely a highlight of the last year.
P.S. “Montgolfière” is the French word for hot air balloon ;)

“Witch’s Secret:
Deep in the mist-shrouded Black Forest lived a witch feared by all. Her crooked cottage leaned like weathered bones, and from its chimney rose not smoke, but incantations that twisted into shapes. Villagers whispered that her eyes could steal children’s souls, that her cauldron wailed with the voices of the dead when it boiled.”
