This piece is both sculpture and clothing - a corset made from sculptural materials that fits the human body. It wraps around with an almost otherworldly presence, fulfilling the human desire to be held close.
Inspired by our longing for connection, it explores the concept of union - how different elements come together, ‘becoming one with another again.’
Through the study of sculptural techniques, I experimented with forms and textures that break away from traditional fashion. The rigid materials soften as they conform to the body, symbolizing the blend of structure and movement.
