LADY LUCK Crowd funder is here!
‘LADY LUCK’ is a surrealist tale that explores superstition inside London Strip Clubs. A modern day ‘Urban Legend’ that questions whether luck is made or granted.
Think ‘Suspiria but set in a strip club’.
This is the Crowdfund for my second short film - I feel like it’s a bit of a right of passage as a film maker to do a crowd funder at some point in your career so here goes nothing!
I’m working with an amazing team on this project @miguel.carmenes who was cinematographer for my previous short film SEVEN SISTERS and a legend in the game, @aishaakempp & @undercover_bangers iconic producers, @cameronculvercasting on casting and the incredible @sofireworldwide who made this stunning poster to help promote the Crowd funder and start brining these characters to life!!!! We haven’t fully crewed up for this project yet so if you’re interested in getting involved let me know :)

Loved being part of @femmefilth film festival in LA earlier this year. Such a brilliant line up celebrating films by women and non-binary directors! 💓
@sevensistersfilm was the only British film in the program and it was amazing seeing it resonate with an American audience.

Isabella is a Writer/Director hailing from South-East London. Isabella’s writing tackles issues of feminism, sexual assault, mental health and current affairs through the lens of Magical Realism. Her work centres on surprising stories with a supernatural twist. Seven Sisters is Isabella’s debut short film as a Writer/Director, it was the winner of the ShortFlix award and was produced by Sky Arts and Creative UK.
