@arri @smallhd Overlay license in play this week. Here’s what I’ve learned so far…
Pros💪🏼
1. Very nice having eyes on monitor
2. Plenty of sizing options, transparency etc
3. Three right side screen positions are good options
Cons🤷♂️
1. USB-C interface powers handset, but also drains battery slowly but “powered” icon takes over the battery level icon so you can’t see the handset draining. Hoping the serial cable option will be the fix.
2. Pulling the USB-C while handset is on with a battery sometimes results in the handset powering down as if it lost power, and in one case it actually FACTORY RESET! Not good on a busy set. Is this the new HI-5 SUP or the overlay license? Not sure yet need to test more.
Once things are smoothed out, I’d love to see some options added to show focus in a few “graphical” ways like a heads up display. Definitely need the Serial to USB-C cable immediately.
