The Cine RT System doing another tour of duty on the Dune series - brought along by 1st AC Jorge Sanchez and seen here on DP Linus Sandgren’s camera.
The picture appeared in an article by the Hollywood Reporter offering a little insight into the look of the project: “I envisioned lenses that could create specific optical characteristics, particularly the flares, that would be unique to this film,” said Sandgren. “Atlas rose to an incredible challenge, designing and hand-crafting these IMAX lenses in remarkable time…”

Thanks to 1st AC @bradenbatsford for taking us along on the newly released Crime 101. Braden put many miles on the Cine RT and provided much feedback on the OV1 Overlay Unit, which he field tested on the show.
