Heather grew up on the South Dakota prairies, where long winters meant endless creative projects with her mom, Iris — sewing, baking, coloring, painting, and more. Her creative spark was fueled not only by her mom, but also by her grandmother’s hand-me-down Brownie film camera.
After 27 years in corporate life, she’s finally following a long-held dream and opening The IRiS Art Haus & Supply Co. — a community space inspired by creativity, storytelling, and her mom’s legacy. A place where any artist can learn, grow, and belong.
And we can’t wait to share it with all of YOU in February 2026! 🎉
