𝕎𝕖𝕝𝕔𝕠𝕞𝕖 𝕥𝕠 𝕄𝕖𝕝𝕤𝕡𝕒𝕔𝕖! I created Melspace in 2021 on a mission to find an artistic medium I could lose myself in and create the art I wanted to see in my own home. I instantly fell in love with tufting and, through lots of trial and error, began sharing my creations at local events and craft markets. I started making all kinds of custom rug art but developed a passion for creating pet portraits of beloved furry family members. I hold each of these portraits close to my heart and feel like I'm buddies with every single pet I am lucky enough to tuft, even if we never meet! I quickly got requests for workshops and was able find a home for them at Kaleidoscope Collective, where you can find regular workshop dates as well as my rug art for sale. I have since expanded to stocking several other amazing local retail shops and traveling all around NWA to bring tufting workshops to other local creatives! When I'm not tufting or teaching, my 6-month-old twins keep me and my husband plenty busy at home and are currently on a fast-track training program to be my market helpers! Huge thank you to each and every one of you for being along for the ride, life looks a lot different since I started this lil biz over 5 years ago!
