✨Scout’s Honor✨ remember that lil film I worked on a couple years ago? So excited for it’s west coast premier this week at Seattle International Film Festival!! We are so excited to announce that Scout’s Honor will have its West Coast Premiere at the Seattle International Film Festival this May! @siffnews It is absolutely surreal to be able to play in the incredible city where we shot this film, and where so many of our pals and family live, including the many many of you that supported us in it’s creation! From behind-the-scenes moments to the big screen 🎬✨ I loved shooting BTS and promotional stills for Scout’s Honor (@scoutshonorfilm ), and now seeing this beautiful short selected for the Florida Film Festival 2026 (@floridafilmfest ) feels truly special. There’s something powerful about watching a film go from on-set magic—quiet focus around the monitor, clapperboards in motion, cast deep in character, crew building every frame—to its world premiere on April 12 & 16. These images are a glimpse into the passion that built this film. In these I see the energy on the set: the collaboration, the precision, the creativity, and the joy that filled every day of filming. The Florida Film Festival is a highly respected Oscar-qualifying festival now in its 35th year, and Scout’s Honor could not have found a more exciting stage. Now tell me I got something for you.” The folks in SHORTS #3: “CAN’T GET ENOUGH” are all driven by want of something someone else has, and the taking can be funny, or it can be tragic, but when it’s late, and you want love, you’ll take it even if it’s gonna break you in two. Shorts #3: “Can’t Get Enough” screens Sunday, April 12 at 11AM and Thursday, April 16 at 6:30PM, with filmmakers in attendance at both screenings. All shorts in this block are eligible for our Grand Jury Award, the winner of which will be eligible for qualification for the 2027 Oscars. The 2026 Florida Film Festival takes place April 10–19.
