Jan/Feb 2026 cause my mom asked me to! So here’s the usual roundup of my friend’s pets (now feat. friend’s babies) and shows I’ve seen!

Ending 2025 reminding you all that I’m a California girl at heart. (For the record, I’m still a New York City supremacist but California is the best state and you can’t change my mind)

Capped off a full and fun November with so many people I love and even though we’re all being actively blinded by the sun in this first photo I had to document nine out of eleven first cousins plus three partners plus one great grandkid (feat. His current fave song) on the feed amongst all the other little things I’m grateful for this month 🥯👟🗳️🐈‍⬛🎶🎭🎃🐦🐾

Photos 1-12 are from an action packed first two weeks of October before I succumbed to my semi-regular upper respiratory illness of the moment (so chic of me). Thankfully I was well enough for Halloween (costume in the final photo- your hint is in the song choice plus these emojis📚🧠)

On April 6, 2010, I saw my first Broadway show (Next to Normal OBC, for the record). At some point after that, I decided it was imperative I see a show in each of the 41 active Broadway theaters. Fifteen and a half years and 127 shows later, on October 9, 2025 (*whispers* my 30th birthday), I saw The Lion King, finally completing my journey towards this frankly ridiculous (*whispers* but also sincerely important to me) goal. Please enjoy this carousel of data, superlatives, and some of the oldest pictures I could find from fifteen plus years of theatre going. PS I am in the market for a new completionist goal! Please help me feel like time has meaning in the comments below. PPS I know there are typos and this design is WONKY but I never claimed to be a graphic design girlie but this post is 11 days late and we’re all about not letting the perfect be the enemy of the good (*whispers* in this new decade of my life)

August & September: mostly hanging out with babies, dogs, and cats, none of which are mine 🥲 I also saw three of the longest running shows currently on Broadway, which is cool but something WAY COOLER and broadway related will be revealed an absolutely unhinged post later this month 🎭

Narrowing down ten days in a magical place with two of my best friends, two cats, and farm fresh produce??? Impossible but the best I can do is to say that on the way to a sunset beach bonfire we rolled the windows down and belted Celine Dion and I teared up from joy so do with that information what you will ☀️

So lucky to have had so much to celebrate in June, from film festivals to middle school graduations to being named The Worst Bowler™️ at the Lab/Shul gala. What a life! Bonus points to anyone who can correctly guess my bowling score 🎳

April was a whirlwind. My mom came home in time for Passover (last slide is a video of her reunion with Riley). I saw tons of friends and family (some pictured and others who I love just as much but don’t have pics of!), had a quick pit stop in Seattle, and have spent the past few days attempting to readjust to life in New York, primarily by eating bagels and seeing musicals. Here’s to an uneventful May 🙏

March was a roller coaster- the month started with my mom sedated and intubated and ended with her standing, walking, using a stationary bike, and so much more. She is also reading this, and I know because yesterday she asked me why I hadn’t posted a March photo dump yet. Love you Mom!!! Once again, please mostly enjoy pictures of Riley (dog) and Oliver (cat), but know that a few specific things kept me grounded this month: running, cooking, crocheting, watching the stupidest television known to man (if you aren’t watching Doctor Odyssey on Hulu… you simply must), and, once again, all of the amazing people in my life who have showed up for me and my family. I love you all deeply and cannot say thank you enough. LA- I’m here until April 24! NYC- see you on April 27 (and more specifically, please join me at Marie’s Crisis on April 29 at 6:30 🎹).
