From behind-the-scenes moments to the big screen 🎬✨ I loved shooting BTS and promotional stills for Scout’s Honor (@scoutshonorfilm ), and now seeing this beautiful short selected for the Florida Film Festival 2026 (@floridafilmfest ) feels truly special. There’s something powerful about watching a film go from on-set magic—quiet focus around the monitor, clapperboards in motion, cast deep in character, crew building every frame—to its world premiere on April 12 & 16. These images are a glimpse into the passion that built this film. In these I see the energy on the set: the collaboration, the precision, the creativity, and the joy that filled every day of filming. The Florida Film Festival is a highly respected Oscar-qualifying festival now in its 35th year, and Scout’s Honor could not have found a more exciting stage. Last fall, our friends at @wearedh came to us with a campaign concept centered around a road trip with two best friends. One just happens to be a marmot…named Kevin. The @ecologywa campaign includes six spots, three in English and three in Spanish, that aim to Keep WA Litter Free. We had an amazing time bringing Kevin’s world to life in collaboration with so many talented people, wrapping on Halloween as the leaves turned. Presenting our new Offbeat Original… SCREEN TIME A dinner conversation about phone addiction collapses as each guest literally disappears into their device. Thanks to everyone who helped bring this film to life—a story that, in the words of writer & director Bryan Campbell, is “a satirical exploration of our obsession with smartphones and the irony of how easily we fall into the habits we criticize.” But make it a dinner party! Screen Time was shot back in June 2025 at @geerose21 ’s soundstage/house, bringing together an eager group of seasoned and up-and-coming filmmakers to learn more about using green screens and incorporating VFX into the production and post-production workflow. Four days in Seattle, building a cinematic library of imagery for PACCAR — the parent company of Kenworth, Peterbilt, and TRP. We captured service bays, retail counters, staged truck exteriors, and studio product shots with a full cast and multiple units working in sync. While motion was captured on the ARRI Alexa, stills were driven entirely by the Leica SL3 with APO-Summicron primes, with generous support from @leicacamerausa . Our goal was to match the richness and grounded tone of our motion work — and the SL3 delivered beautifully. Clean, true, and full of soul, straight out of camera. Grateful to Leica for the support, and PACCAR, FCB, and NHS for backing the vision.
