A little #bts of the
@abrushofviolence trailer from first pass ➡️ final.
I studied Men, Prometheus, Hereditary, Titane, The Lighthouse & Midsommar trailers and took notes on any patterns or certain beats that seemed congruent at specific times. I wanted to create a custom sound so editing wasn’t locked to a specific count & used around 29 SFX tracks do so. (Used a lot of
@epidemicsound stems to do this & highly recommend their music library.)
Next, I sent over the files so
@snakesofrussia could compose the actual 🔥 track, then to
@coltonjackson_12 to add/subtract/amplify and work his magic on the sound, while also mixing Snake’s track in. (2nd slide)
Once I had those back, I realigned footage to match Snake’s + Colton’s incredible work & vuaaala 🤙🏾
