2025 Phil Richard Classic Team Recap ✨
-
Immy Barr
100/52.5/140- 292.5 +15kg
Came in and secured the Nats QT on the perfect day.
Tihana Draves
157.5/85/160- 402.5 +45kg
Queen of making her thirds look like openers, broke past the 400 total mark with kilos in the tank. Now we look to build into BUCs.
Reanna Sell
95/42.5/117.5 - 255
Awesome to see Reanna smash through the BUCS QT, following an almost perfect prep. Her hard work and dedication since commonwealth has been rewarded
Ffion Grant
105/50/107.5 - 262.5
Heroic effort making weight after a busy prep. We are 8 weeks out from Varsity to secure an even bigger total!
Jamie Cadogan
290/180/270 - 740
Best lifter, confidence boosting performance, much more at Welsh Championship!
Joe Williams
200/117.5/207.5- 525 +32.5
Depth call on second meant a retake on third. Hail Mary final pull but still a massive total PR for Joe.
Leighon Otteson
202.5/135/220- 557.5 first comp
9/9 and 27/27 white lights on his first comp, perfect day and strength showed up better than expected.
JC Pesario
187.5/130/235- 552.5 (+15)
Frustrating day for JC with his true strength not being expressed. Still a total PR, and no doubt that he will smash this out of the park at the next one.
Will Trott
212.5/115/232.5- 560 (+55)
Squat attempts got better as they went on. Some great data for bench. Did pull 242.5 but unfortunately called for soft lockout. Next comp everything will be undeniable
Will Greaves
275/180/260- 715 (+2.5)
Will hit a 285 squat on his third attempted but jumped the rack command. Following this a speed bobble on his third dead of 275 saw him be called for downwards movement. Welsh Champs will see a HUGE total from this man.
Patrick Gill
255/157.5/267.5- 680 (+20)
Unfortunately a flare up of previous shoulder issues meant Pat only hit his opening bench. However, a big final deadlift saw him qualify himself for nationals.
Kayla Barrett
6/9 +12.5kg Comp PB
Kayla added on 12.5kg to her Comp Total with only one block between peaks. Some comp day jitters meant some missed kilos on platform and a punt 3rd deadlift for Welsh Champs QT. Kayla will be back for those 3rds at the Welsh Varsity in 8 weeks.
