Got a spare running watch? ⌚️ At Into Ultra, we see watches as non-essential—especially with great phone apps available for most training runs. But for some of our runners, a reliable watch can make a real difference during long races. We’re building a small watch bank to loan out for race days—and we need your help. If you have a working watch you’re no longer using and it has a good battery life for around 50 mile races we’d love to give it a second life. 📩 DM @persianpursuits or email [email protected] to donate or learn more.

Huge thank you to The Merrell Fund for providing Into Ultra with a fantastic grant. This grant will enable us to support many more ultra-curious runners to access the trails and get outside into nature. We’re so excited to be working with The Merrell Fund across our shared passions and making the outdoors accessible to all 🏃‍♀️ @merrell

This one feels really close to my heart 🥰🏃‍♀️ I’ve been accepted into the Into Ultra Coaching Team @intoultra — and it’s an honour to be part of something that’s about so much more than just running. Into Ultra is a charity working to make ultrarunning more accessible and inclusive. Women, ethnic groups, people with disabilities, and lower income communities are still under-represented at the start line. And that matters 🧡 Because for many people, the barriers aren’t just physical — they’re confidence, cost, safety concerns, or simply feeling like “this isn’t for someone like me.” Into Ultra helps break down those barriers through guidance, support, and resources — making that first step into trail and ultra running feel more possible. And that’s exactly why this means so much to me🏃‍♀️🫶 Because my work has never been about performance alone — it’s about building confidence, resilience, and trust in your body. Being part of this team feels like a natural extension of everything I believe in through MindFuelBody. Movement, mindset, and support - in a way that meets people where they are. If you’ve ever felt curious about ultra running but weren’t sure where to start — this might be your sign ✨ Happy Running, Tamara #ultrarunning #trailrunning #loveforrunning #ultrarunninguk

Episode 102 Sha Khan Visually Impaired Ultra Trail Runner Imagine you're taking on the Arc of Attrition. Wild weather, technical trail, hundreds of other runners all moving at different speeds and all funneling down the narrow coast path with you. Now imagine all of that and you're visually impaired! Meet Sha Khan, a visually impaired ultra trail runner who took on and completed this year's Arc of Attrition 12 by UTMB in January. In this episode we dive into the story of how Sha, who wasn't a runner before losing his eyesight, discovered purpose and freedom through trail running. I'm joined again by Matt Whyman, friend and author of 'Failure is not an option' , as Sha explains the nuts and bolts of how running tethered to a guide works, from learning to walk, to a 5k, to the Arc. There's no stopping him now as he'll soon be taking on the mountain trails around Mt. Blanc on MCC! Inspiring, brave and brimming with energy, I hope you enjoy this chat with Sha and if YOU fancy being part of his attempt on the Arc 100 in 2027 listen to learn how to get involved as a running guide! Thanks again to all of you for listening. If you have a moment please, like, subscribe and if you have a few seconds more, perhaps write a short review. It's all a great help to us in growing the audience and is very much appreciated! Jay and Lewis (and Matt)

Have you ever thought about becoming a guide runner? 🏃‍♂️ Guide runners run alongside a visually impaired runner, helping with direction, pace, and safety. It’s all about trust, teamwork, and shared miles, making running inclusive and accessible for everyone. For our supported runner @shagoesfar having a guide runner is essential to his running journey. Anyone can become a guide runner! Check out the link in our bio for more info

What a flipping lovely day on the trails. Amazing to meet the Stronger Together crew in person for the first time - these superstars are training together as a community to run this year’s @lakeland_trails 55k event. Thank you all for a fab day out, and for being better takers of photos than I am 🙈 Thanks to @intoultra for creating and funding this opportunity, and to @lakeland_trails for providing race places to our funded runners. #intoultra #lakelandtrails #strongertogether
